Five players, including all four Lady Bear freshmen, earned grade point averages of 3.0 or above for the fall semester (Sophia Young, Tricia Abbott, Rachel Allison, Jessica Morrow, Jhasmin Player) to earn a place on the Big 12 Commissioner s Honor Roll. Young posted a 4.0 mark. Baylor s 50-point win over Kansas was its largest ever in a Big 12 game and its biggest since a 53-point win over Sam Houston State in 2003-04. Sophia Young has produced 21 double-doubles in 41 career games against ranked (AP) teams. Baylor hasn t lost back-to-back games in the same season since the 2002-03 campaign (Kansas State, at Oklahoma), a span of 115 games. estmulkey-robertson s Record when... 2005-06 All-Time Home 12-1 82-11 Away 7-4 41-25 Neutral 6-1 33-8 Leading at half 21-2 129-13 Trailing at half 2-4 23-29 Tied at half 1-0 3-2 Overtime 1-0 3-3 Night games 17-4 117-30 Day games 8-2 39-14 November games 6-0 28-2 December games 4-0 37-1 January games 5-4 28-19 February games 6-1 33-13 March games 4-1 28-8 April games 0-0 2-1 Monday games 0-1 11-1 Tuesday games 2-0 14-2 Wednesday games 8-1 39-16 Thursday games 2-0 9-1 Friday games 2-0 13-1 Saturday games 8-2 53-15 Sunday games 3-2 17-7 Television games 8-5 38-22 Field Goal Shooting 20-29% 0-1 2-4 Shooting 30-39% 5-2 20-26 Shooting 40-49% 14-3 80-13 Shooting 50-59% 6-0 50-1 Shooting 60-69% 0-0 4-0 Higher than opponent 24-1 141-9 Lower than opponent 1-5 14-35 Same as opponent 0-0 1-0 Three-Point Field Goal Shooting 0-19% 4-3 28-16 Shooting 20-29% 4-2 32-12 Shooting 30-39% 9-1 29-7 Shooting 40-49% 5-0 30-6 Shooting 50-59% 2-0 27-2 Shooting 60-69% 1-0 6-1 Shooting 70-79% 0-0 1-0 Shooting 80-89% 0-0 2-0 Shooting 90-99% 0-0 0-0 Shooting 100% 0-0 1-0 Higher than opponent 14-0 93-13 Lower than opponent 7-6 55-31 Same as opponent 2-0 5-0 Free Throw Shooting 30-39% 0-0 0-0 Shooting 40-49% 0-0 2-2 Shooting 50-59% 2-0 10-6 Shooting 60-69% 12-2 50-16 Shooting 70-79% 5-3 51-10 Shooting 80-89% 4-1 35-8 Shooting 90-100% 2-0 7-2 Higher than opponent 12-5 94-17 Lower than opponent 12-0 60-24 Same as opponent 0-0 1-2 Outrebounding opp. 22-1 129-19 Outrebounded by opp. 3-5 21-24 Rebounds equal 0-0 6-1 Fewer turnovers opp. 19-4 105-18 More turnovers opp. 6-1 37-22 Turnovers equal 0-1 14-4 Games decided by 1-5 points 2-4 17-16 6-10 points 4-0 21-10 11-15 points 6-1 31-9 16-24 points 4-0 39-7 25+ points 9-1 48-2 page 4 - Lady Bear Basketball

CHALKED UP ANOTHER 20-WIN SEASON... After posting 20-win seasons in each of her first five seasons, Kim Mulkey-Robertson and the Lady Bears made it six straight as they pushed their season record to 20-5 with an 86-40 triumph over Colorado. Prior to Mulkey-Robertson s arrival, the program had posted six 20-plus win seasons in 26 years and five of those were during pre-ncaa competition when there were no game limits. Since the NCAA began sponsoring women s basketball in the 1981-82 season Baylor had posted only one 20-win season (1997-98, 20-11) prior to Mulkey-Robertson assuming the reins of the Lady Bear program. At 25-6, Baylor enjoys its third-best record after 31 games in Mulkey-Robertson s tenure behind a 28-3 mark a year ago and a 26-5 record in 2001-02. BU has posted 25 or more wins for the third straight year and fourth time in the last six years. THE COACHES... Baylor coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson is in her sixth season and owns a 156-44 head coaching record which equates to a.780 winning percentage. She has produced 20-win seasons in each of her six years as a head coach averaging 26 wins per year, and has taken the Lady Bears to postseason competition every year, five times to the NCAA Tournament and to the 2003 WNIT finals. In 2005, the Lady Bears claimed Baylor s and the Big 12 s first NCAA basketball championship. Mulkey-Robertson is 10-3 in NCAA Tournament games, 4-1 in first round games, 2-1 in second round games, 1-1 in the Sweet 16, 1-0 in the Elite Eight, 1-0 in the semifinals and 1-0 in championship games.
