REGISTRATION INFORMATION Registration is located in the INTRUST Bank Arena lobby for both teams and coaches. Teams must have their music uploaded and PPC submitted prior to registering the teams. Teams that skate under the IJS scoring, will be required to sign off on the submitted PPC. Teams will receive credentials for all skaters, two credentials for Team Managers, lanyards, skater bags and prepurchased pins/programs. For cross skaters, their lanyard and skater bag will be included with the first team that is scheduled to compete. Coaches must show identification and be compliant before they will receive their bag and credential. Compliance verification can be done by visiting the Information for Clubs page under Coaches on the U.S. Figure Skating website. There is a 2017-2018 Compliance pdf where all coaches are listed along with their compliance items. BOX OFFICE HOURS Tickets can be purchased either online or on-site at the box office. Tickets purchased on-site will have less fees. There is also a group sales option for a lower ticket price. See the competition website. Persons are allowed to leave and re-enter the venue, however tickets must be scanned out prior to leaving so the ticket can be scanned back in as valid for entry. CREDENTIALS/TICKETS/RULES INTRUST Bank Arena All persons will be checked through a metal detector every time they enter the venue. All bags will be checked! No food can be brought in to the venue. Water bottles can be brought in with liquid if it is sealed from the manufacturer. However, empty bottles can be brought in to be filled up at a water station. Water stations will be available to athletes on the event level behind the credentialed access Gate (A or B). There are also water fountains on the main concourse. Tickets will not be required to watch Official or Unofficial Practice Ice. Wichita Ice Center Athletes, Coaches, Team Managers will need to present credentials to gain access to the rink getting to the locker room or ice. Page 2 of 10

SPECTATOR SEATING INTRUST Bank Arena Is located on the main concourse in sections 106-116 or 126-117. All persons will need either a ticket or credential to watch competition events. Wichita Ice Center Persons wishing to watch UPI can do so from the stand in the Olympic rink located off the Upper Level lobby. For the NHL rink, you can watch from the upper level lobby or at ice level through the glass doors. MERCHANDISE Pin & Program Pre-orders Any team or skater pre-purchasing pins or programs will be given in the team registration packet. The pre-order is open through Thursday, January 18 th. Pin & Program Sales Remaining pins and programs will be sold through the Registration Desk located in the lobby of INTRUST Bank Arena. Only cash will be accepted! Event Results After the conclusion of each event, results can be purchased through the Registration Desk. Cash will be the only method of payment accepted. Page 3 of 10

RINK DIAGRAMS & INFORMATION INTRUST Bank Arena (Competition Arena and Official Practice Ice (OPI)) 500 East Waterman St, Wichita KS 67202 Official Practice Coaches can stand where convenient to speak with the team. They cannot stand on the Judges Stand Unofficial Practice Coaches can stand where convenient to speak with the team and music person. The Judges Stand may be the easiest! Competition Coaches can stand by the boards in the on-ice tunnel. Coaches will need to use the locker room tunnel to gain access to the off-ice and Kiss & Cry areas. It will be helpful for all to walk on the right so coaches have a pathway running to the other tunnel. Page 4 of 10

For Competition: Teams can take the ice and stand along the barrier wall before they are called. Teams must exit their locker room at the designated time. If you compete close to an awards ceremony, you can check in with the Team Escort Coordinator or you will be told if you can stay in the locker room you are currently in. Do not expect to stay in the same locker room. All teams can, and are encouraged, to stand in the Kiss & Cry area. The event photographer and videographer are located on the Judges Stand side, so they will have a wonderful location to take pictures! Warm-Up Information: Located two levels above the lobby entrance. All teams much check in/out with the volunteer located at the top of the escalator. o Team Escorts to the locker room will be used for Competition; there may not be an escort for OPI This is the concourse for the 200 level seating which is not being used. Each team will have quite a bit of space! Teams are not being placed next to each other, rather being rotated to every other warm-up slot allowing teams space to move and play music. Keep in mind, there is no hard wall between warm-up and the ice surface so do not blare music so loud as it is heard inside the arena. Page 5 of 10

Wichita Ice Center 505 West Maple St, Wichita KS 67213 Unofficial Practice Coaches can stand where convenient to speak with the team and music person. The music box may be the easiest! Teams must provide their own music for UPI sessions. You can bring a CD or an electronic device. We will have an AUX cord to go into the arena system. Verify your device has the audio port to plug in to. We do not have any conversion items for example, new iphones do not an an audio port but there is a dongle that uses the power port. UPI Process: Teams will be announced to take the ice at the beginning of their time slot. Teams will be given a 2 minute and 30 second warnings of their ending time. Teams need to promptly exit otherwise they may forfeit all future Page 6 of 10

Teams are asked to check locker rooms for any trash or personal items before they leave. It is not guaranteed that items left in the locker room will get into a lost & found. Warm-Up Information: There are four warm-up areas; teams will be assigned to one. Check in with either the lobby greeter or rink access volunteer to determine which warm-up area you are assigned to for your UPI session. Timing is tight on some days, so please ensure you are exiting your area at the designated time. Some extra areas are in the upper and lower lobby so please be courteous to other facility patrons as they may need to get around you We are not taping off the area but ask that you do not spread out too far. The facility hosts a gym so there will be gym patrons accessing the lobby areas. PARKING INTRUST Bank Arena Parking around the arena for personal cars is free of charge. See the map below for the location of the available lots. Buses are asked to follow the drive path located in the map below and can park at their designated lot up the street. The right-hand lane of Emporia will be used for athlete pick-up and drop-off. Page 7 of 10

Wichita Ice Center Car parking is on-site at the venue with bus parking across the street at the baseball stadium. Athletes will be dropped off at the front of the building facing Maple Street. Athlete exit is on the south side (back) of the building. Page 8 of 10

AWARDS All teams placing 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd or 4 th with all championship events are invited to participate in the awards ceremony for. Award ceremony will not take place for qualifying round events. Teams are asked to be on the Event Level in the Awards Staging area ready to go with dresses and skates on at least 10 minutes before the ceremony. The Awards Staging area is located next to the Team Photo area. If skaters need to get dressed, there will be limited space with pipe and drape areas and a restroom for changing. For some ceremonies, three locker rooms may be available depending on timing of events starting after the ceremony. All teams will be lined up in the back staging area leading to the competition off-ice tunnel. Teams will line up with team captains first (maximum of two), then remaining team members behind them. Non team captains will be awarded their medals off-ice. When the team is announced, they will enter the ice and go to the podium located between the hockey circles and blue line, facing the officials stand. The team captains will stand on the podium with team members behind them. Those on the podium will be awarded their medals and winners presented a trophy. Teams will then be directed to the other end of the ice for teams to take both personal pictures and the official team photo by KrPhotogs. Teams will have a maximum of 5 minutes to complete both pictures then will be asked to leave the ice. Teams exit through the normal on-ice door. Page 9 of 10

Timing is tight to allow for on-ice awards and will be asked to leave the ice so the next event who just received their medals can take the larger area for team and official photos. We ask for all coaches, team managers, skaters and support staff understand and respect this timing for all involved. If timing is not being adhered to, awards will be moved entirely off-ice.
