LBHL TRADING RULES 1.0 INTRODUCTION 1.1 Purpose Trading in the LBHL will allow teams to improve throughout the year. Many teams draft players, even though they are good players, they do not play well together or don t mesh. This will allow a team to change things up, giving them an opportunity to compete. 2.0 TRADING RULES AND GUIDE LINES 2.1 The Committee There will be a committee to accept or deny any trade offers/proposals. The committee will be formed by the LBHL`s four General Managers and one representative of each team. 2.2 Rules TEAM GENERAL MANAGER REPRESENTATIVE The Hitmen Alphonse Monaco To be appointed The Chargers Mark DiMilo To be appointed The Rockstars Dave Raheb To be appointed The Sharp Shooters Gaspare Graziano To be appointed The trade deadline date is established as February 28 of each year. Trades can only be completed between the following dates: September 15 up to February 28. The last trade on February 28 is to be submitted by 3:00pm. NO EXCEPTIONS. This will allow ample time for the league to accept or deny the trade. Trades may be allowed at the day of the draft if ALL General Managers are present. At the day of the draft, this year s draft picks are eligible only, not next years. You may trade a drafted player to another team for a draft pick, at the draft. A trade request can be sent via e-mail to the Commissioner @ leamingtonballhockey@yahoo.ca. Each team s General Manager will be given an e-mail account which will allow them to submit their trade proposal. The e-mail should be directed to The Commissioner with CC s to the other teams General Managers. A trade can be arranged at the League s head office on Thursday nights. General Managers and their representative shall be present at the time of any trade offers. The trade may be accepted that night or be tabled for discussion and a decision made by the next game. The decision as to whether a trade will be accepted or denied will be given to the two opposing teams GM and representatives. (Example: If the Chargers are trading with The Rockstars, then The Hitmen and The Sharp Shooters will decide.) In the event of a split decision, a third party will be introduced to deny or accept the trade. If the opposing teams decisions are split (2 say yes and 2 say no) then the Trade Commissioner, Johnny Peralta, will make the official and final decision. 1
