Please make sure that students come to school with everything they need and make other arrangements for lunches and birthday celebrations. We are also grateful to our newest addition, Nurse Lisa. You ladies do an amazing job taking care of not only our kids but the faculty and staff as well. Thank you for all that you do. Thanks to everyone who came out to Spring Creek. ESE was given a check for $1,400 for our spirit night. Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Harper s classes all got prize packs for having the most students participate. Next Wednesday, May 17th, is an Early Release day. Walkers and bikers will be released at 11:55, all others at 12:00. Please plan accordingly. SPRING PICTURES went home last week. You may purchase whatever amount you would like and return the rest with your payment. If you do not wish to purchase any pictures please return them as soon as possible. All checks should be made out to Lifetouch. Instructions to purchase online are included with your photos. The pictures are now past due. Please send in all pictures/money ASAP. ESE ANNUAL BOOK SWAP will be held May 22nd ~ 26th. Did you finish all the books on your shelf???? Need a new adventure??? Bring them in and swap them out for something new. Students may bring in up to 10 books to swap our for a new to you book for summer reading. The end of the school year is fast approaching and we need your help. We need to know how many of our students will be returning to ESE or moving to a new school for the 2017-18 school year. Please fill out the orange forms that were sent home last week and return them to your child s teacher by FRIDAY! Our second grade Girl Scout Troop #118029 has teamed up with SIRE to complete their service project for this year. SIRE works to improve the quality of life for people with special needs and disabilities through therapeutic horsemanship activities. The troop will be collecting much needed supplies to help them continue their program. Donations of paper towels, baby wipes, antibacterial hand soap and hand towels would be greatly appreciated. Donations will be accepted beginning May 15th. See page 6 for more information. Please visit the SIRE website to find out more about this wonderful program. Want to enjoy your child s musical and still get some great photos???? Order a DVD from Simply Presented photography and you can sit back and enjoy the entire performance. The DVD will contain video (except 3rd & 5th due to copyright laws) and still photographs. You can even order a package of your favorite photo!! Order forms will be handed out at the performance or you may print this one and bring it with you or turn it in at school. You may also order online. Page 2
