Kathy R. suggested that the Summer 2017 trial be dedicated to Gail Shattuck. Ways and Means: Diane Boross said that will be having a door prize at the end of meetings. We will try to do it for most meetings (whenever Diane or one of her assistants can make it). We would like to have a performance person on the Ways & Means committee. THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Our October specialty enjoyed one of the largest entries in some time.great to see so many beautiful Shelties gathered together. I would like to thank the many people who helped make the show a success. First, Sharon Sampson, co-chair, who did half the work; Halina Christie, show secretary. I know from experience how hectic the last weeks before the show can be; Marianne Dub, who kept the Obedience and Rally ring humming along; Cathy Dupree for the great lunch; Debbie Marks for handling the trophies; Mark Hersman for doing the ribbons, Tom True for delivering the equipment ; Yvonne Samuelson for making and delivering the welcome packets to the hotel; conformation steward Kathy Rosdail and her apprentice, John Strassner, OB and Rally stewards Rebecca Logsdon and Roxayn King; judge transporters Halina, Sharon and me; those who helped with set-up and clean-up; also a few helpers who are not club members (sorry, I don t know their names).
