Community Marketing Program Literacy Marketing Program Co-sponsorship of Reading with the Bears program. Each year, Rhode Island elementary schools will be contacted to participate in an incentive based reading program. Students who read a specific amount of books will be rewarded with free tickets to various Brown Athletic events. As a sponsor of this program, your company will be present in all materials that are sent out to students (initial letter, follow-up letters, bookmarks, etc). Additionally, your company will be present during a designated athletic event (Football or Men s Basketball) where students are recognized for their accomplishments. 11

Meehan Auditorium Signage: Hockey Dasherboard signs displayed at all Men s and Women s Ice Hockey home games played at Meehan Auditorium. More than 200,000 visitors come to the arena over the course of a year. In addition to the Brown Hockey programs, Meehan is home to several youth, high school and local hockey organizations. The arena is open 16 hours a day, seven days a week. 21

Stevenson Field Signage: Soccer & Lacrosse Stevenson Field is home to Brown s Men s and Women s Soccer and Lacrosse teams. With a capacity of 3,500, Stevenson Field recently received new lighting and a completely new field and subsurface. New lights and light towers allow for night play and televised games. Two (2) on-field logos for all Men s and Women s Soccer and Lacrosse home games. 24

Terrance Murray Stadium Signage: Baseball Home of the 2007 Ivy League Champion Brown Bears, and originally built in 1959, Murray Stadium was rededicated in April 2007 after a generous gift from Suzanne and Terrance Murray. The stadium includes a modern press box, bleacher seating for up to 1,000, dugouts, bullpen and batting cages. Shortly after its rededication, Murray Stadium played host to Brown s first Ivy League Championship victory, as it defeated Penn 20-6 in front of a capacity crowd of over 1,500.
