Workout Plan from the 2011 CP3 Elite Guard Camp By Camp Director Kyle Manary Kyle Manary spent several years coaching at the collegiate level at Stephen F. Austin State University and Saint Mary s College (CA) as well as in the NBA (worked with the Dallas Maverickss in scouting and conducting international basketball clinics) ). After leaving the Mavericks, Kyle teamed up with former NBA No. 1 draft pick John Lucas, to work out 90+ NBA players as well as numerous college and high school All-American ns. For the past four years Kyle has worked the Nike Skills Academies (boys & girls) which feature the top high school and collegiate players in the US. Kyle currently owns and operates Learn To Be A Pro, LLC. and has resources for players and coaches of all ages and levels (books and DVDs). He created an individual, 365 day per year workout book (there is a Beginner and an Advanced version) that includes drill diagrams and charts for players to monitor their progress. For additional info, or to purchase Kyle s products, please visit: www.learntobeapro.com Kyle can be reached directly at KManary25@Hotmail.com. "Kyle is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had an opportunity to work with. Every time I am with him I learn something new about the game. His attention to detail is second to none. Couple this with his energy and ability to relate to players and you can see why he is one of the best!" Kevin Eastman, Boston Celtics Assistant Coach/Nike Skills Academy Director NOTE: The pages that follows is exactly what each coach at the CP3 Elite Guard Camp was given prior to the workout. If you want a more in-depth description (including diagrams) of these drills, please check out the resources at www.learntobeapro.com! For a quick visual of most of these drills, please watch the video from last year s camp: http://tinyurl.com/2010cp3eliteguardcamp
