11 Board of Directors NOTES FROM THE BOARD The Club is nearing the end of one of the best years it has experienced since our equity purchase and possibly since its beginning. We have completed many successful projects and achieved much progress during 2011. The success is due to the Strong Support and participation the Members have given the Club and Board of Directors during the year. The Club cannot progress without the Members Support. This year we have achieved a significant milestone. We have met our goal of a $217,000 Mortgage Reserve Fund. We have also seen the Nine and Dine activity grow to a tremendous success, (again due to the Members). We have repaired the rough riding golf cart paths, planned renovation of children s playground, refurbished the pool and installed a cost saving salt water system to eliminate the chlorine, and resurfaced the tennis courts to maintain and improve the Club s facilities or amenities. TENNIS COURTS We recently resurfaced the Tennis courts for your use. It is very important to have a good surface for quality play on a tennis court and we must do everything we can to maintain those new surfaces. It was recently reported that people were using the tennis courts for skate boarding and that activity is strictly forbidden on the tennis courts. If you see someone on the courts abusing them by using them for something other than what they are intended please notify the Club Manager. We do allow the basketball court be used for skate boarding when they are not in use by the basketball players. PRACTICE GOLF BALLS The Club has been notified of some Members removing practice golf balls from the practice range. All practice balls are to be left at the practice range or returned to the Golf Shop. Do not put them in your car or cart. COOSAW CREEK COUNTRY CLUB DRESS CODE We have received information that some members and guests have not been in compliance with the Club Dress Codes. Appropriate attire is required on both the golf course and in the Club House. For your convenience the Club will note the dress code for each event on the bottom of the announcement of the coming event. The Dress Code could change or be different for some events. The Club Managers have been instructed to notify Members when they do not comply with the Dress Code.

The Property Stewardship Committee has completed a study, received bids and have been given the approval to purchase the OSHA approved Playground Equipment to upgrade the playground for the Member s children and grandchildren. The drawings for the project are on display in the Clubhouse lobby. This will be a much needed upgrade for the community and is expected to be completed by the end of February, 2012. POOL Some routine pool maintenance has been completed in preparation for the upcoming season. In addition to being drained and chemically pressure washed, we have also converted the pool to a salt water system. We expect to realize significant cost savings in chemicals due to the system conversion, as well as a more enjoyable swimming experience. Jaeson will use the off-season to make sure everything is in balance and ready to go for spring 2012. FINANCIALS The financials will not be shown here this month but will be presented at the Annual Meeting along with other important information. The Board appreciates the exceptional support and participation by the Membership the Club received during 2011.
