U-12 TOURNAMENT TH MAY 30 RD JUNE 3 * ENTRY FEE - $325.00 + 3 GOOD LEATHER BASEBALLS - BRING YOUR BASEBALLS TO TOURNEY CHECK-IN * AWARDS FOR CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET 1 ST THRU 4 TH PLACE, CONSOLATION BRACKET 1 ST and 2 ND PLACE * TOURNAMENT T-SHIRTS AND RAFFLE TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ALL PROCEEDS GO TO ST. JUDE * ALL TEAMS ARE GUARANTEED A MINIMUM OF 3 GAMES (WEATHER PERMITTING) RULES 1.) Players must be 12 years old or under as of April 30, 2012. (Birth Certificates upon request) 2.) Each game consists of 7 innings. Bases to be 7 48. 3.) In pool play the first team listed on the schedule will be the home team. For all Bracket games the higher seed will be the home team. 4.) 1 hour 40 minute time limit for every game in the tournament. Full extra innings will be allowed for tied games until the time limit has expired. In pool play if the game is still tied when the time limit expires, a tie game will be declared and reflected as such in the standings. For all Bracket games that are still tied when the time limit expires, we will use the California Tie-Breaker in which each half inning thereafter will start with a runner on 2nd base (last out from previous inning), 1 out and a 2-1 count on the batter -- the game will proceed as such until a winner has been determined. For time limit purposes, a new inning starts when the last out of the previous inning is made. 5.) A minimum of 8 players is needed to start a game. (if playing with 8 players, an automatic out must be taken) 6.) 15 run rule after 3 innings, 12 run rule after 4 innings, 10 run rule after 5 innings, 8 run rule after 6 innings. 7.) A game is official after 4 innings if called because of bad weather. If called before that, it will be considered a suspended game and play will resume at that point. Tournament officials reserve the right to alter the format of the tournament due to weather, darkness, or any other unforeseen circumstances. 8.) The home team will have the official book. All line- er to confirm the score at the end of every inning, and confirm pitched innings after the game. The home team is responsible for filling out the game report form, and turning it into a tournament official immediately following the game. 9.) No line-up restrictions. Each team can bat 9, 10, 11 or bat their entire line-up. If a team is batting the entire line- defensive substitutions (except pitcher) for any player that is in the batting line-up. 10.) Re-entry rule: Starters one time to the position in the batting order they left. Pitchers may not return to the mound after being removed. 11.) Designated hitters will not be allowed. 12.) Pitching: A player may pitch a total of 13 innings for the tournament. One pitch constitutes an inning. 13.) Dropped third strike is in effect. 14.) Balk and infield fly rules are in effect. (no balk warnings) 15.) There are no bat restrictions. 16.) Courtesy runners will be allowed and encouraged for catchers only. (last batted out if batting the entire lineup) 17.) Steel spikes will not be allowed. 18.) final. Protests will not be allowed. Please support the umpires. 19.) 15 Games may start early if your scheduled field is open and umpires are ready. Infield practice will only be allowed as time permits. 20.) Full concessions will be available at all game sites. Speed Burner Contest: (12:00 pm Sat) One player from each team (chosen by the coaches) can compete in a timed race around the bases. Each player will start at home plate and must touch each base all the way around. Individual trophies will be awarded to the 3 fastest times. Home Run Derby: (12:30 pm Sat) One player from each team (chosen by the coaches) can compete in a home run hitting contest. Players can choose their own pitcher. Each player will be given 10 outs to hit as many hom An out is any swing that does not result in a home run. Individual trophies will be awarded to the top 3 home run hitters.

Go past the cemetery and take your first right onto Bradley Ave. IVC High School is straight ahead several blocks, and the fields are located behind the High School on the left side of Bradley Ave. FROM THE SOUTH--- Take Rt. 29 North into Chillicothe and take a left at the 1 st stoplight (McDonalds) onto Cloverdale Rd. FAIRVIEW ST. PEORIA, IL 61615 FROM THE NORTH--- Take Rt. 29 about 8 miles South of Chillicothe. Take a left turn at Fairview St. Go through the residential area several blocks and the complex opens up to your left. FROM THE SOUTH--- Take Rt. 29 about 6 miles North of Peoria. Take a right turn at Fairview St. Go through the residential area several blocks and the complex opens up to your left. Rome Fields (Big Gotch and Little Gotch, U-10 and U-11 only) 15951 2nd ST. CHILLICOTHE, IL 61523 FROM THE NORTH--- Take Rt. 29 about 2 miles South of Chillicothe. Take a left turn at Washington St. Big Gotch field is straight ahead, and Little Gotch field is across the street to your right. FROM THE SOUTH--- Take Rt. 29 about 13 miles North of Peoria.
