Sam Shen, Jennie Volkert and Carol May CSUF Dance Team CSUF Titan Spirit Squad Email: titanspiritsquad@fullerton.edu About Us The CSUF Spirit Squad is comprised of three parts: Tuffy the Titan Mascot Program, our Cheer Team, and our Nationally-ranked Competition Dance Team. Our Cheer Team is currently an all-girl cheerleading squad, but we are open to men as well. We are looking for charismatic individuals with strong leadership abilities, and a background in cheerleading, dance or gymnastics, or anyone who is interested in supporting Titans Athletics. Current CSUF students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and must be enrolled full-time (12 units). In addition to the Cheer Team, CSUF currently has a team of two people playing the role of Tuffy, but we are open to a larger team of mascots/flag carriers to accommodate the numerous appearance requests that we receive. We are looking for charismatic, energetic men and women with a background in mascot performance. Current CSUF students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and must be enrolled full-time (12 units). On the performance side, we perform at all of the men's and women's home basketball games as well as any on/off campus events and various city-wide events. We also provide promotional and performance support at other Athletic events such as Soccer, Baseball, and Gymnastics. The team loves to perform and provide spirit for the campus, so we enjoy doing any/all special appearances that come our way. We participate in charity events as well as TV segments...we've even been on the Channel 7 and Channel 5 News as well as featured on MTV and CBS. We do a ton of team bonding such as dinner nights, and sleepovers. The Spirit Squad is a great way to get involved, especially since Cal State Fullerton is a commuter campus. Tryout Date is Set!
