Dear State Champion: Congratulations to you and your team for winning your state tournament and qualifying to play in the 2013 11 year old Ohio Valley Regional in Georgetown, Kentucky. We hope you understand what a great honor this is and we look forward to having you in our community. Scott County Youth Baseball (SCYB) is one of the largest Cal Ripken leagues in Kentucky and we have had tremendous recent success in post season Cal Ripken tournaments. Beginning in 2009 SCYB claimed the 9 year old Ohio Valley Regional runner-up plaque. Then in 2010, SCYB won the 10 year old Ohio Valley Regional prior to winning the 2010 Cal Ripken 10 Year Old World Series in Ocala, FL. This team again won the Ohio Valley Regional as 11 year olds and in 2012 was runner-up in the Ohio Valley, while our 2012 11 year old team won the Ohio Valley Regional. We certainly hope our experience in these tournaments will allow SCYB to make the 2013 Ohio Valley Regional memorable for each of you. The following information provided is very important. We ask you to review all of this information, and please pass it along to all family members who will be coming to the tournament. Once you have qualified, please contact our local Tournament Registration Coordinators, Terry Hopkins, at 859-806-0409 or Jason Noffsinger at 502/316-3352.
