CAPTAINS MEETING 10th APRIL 2016 Treasurers Balance: 5571.37 Copies of last year s accounts are now available for review; you should have picked up a copy when you paid your subs. Are there any queries regarding the accounts? Presentation Evening: Thanks to all of you who attended the presentation evening this year. You helped make it a cracking night. Just a shout-out for our DJ Dean, he did a great job and helped the whole evening go smoothly and kept the tempo up. Thanks also to Jeff Stax for a cracking performance. Any constructive feedback and any suggestions to help make the event even more enjoyable next year are always welcome. Fixtures: The Summer Leagues are already up and running, fingers crossed they will all be keenly contested and not settled until week 18 in August. Good luck to all teams. Just a reminder, it is expected that all fixtures will be completed as per the fixture list, on the original date set by the Fixtures Secretary.

Referring to General Rules 8, where there is good reason and both teams are mutually agreeable, it is permissible to re-arrange games for an alternative night in that week, but all games must be completed by 3pm on the Saturday after the original date. If games are re-arranged outside the permissible timeframe without prior agreement with the relevant Committee member, any points won may not be awarded. Please ensure you take the time to fulfil this requirement as an act of courtesy and to avoid controversy going forward. In addition it is only permissible to re-arrange a maximum of 3 league games and only 1 cup match in a season, providing good reason exists. If this cannot be achieved, permission must be sought from the Fixtures or Competitions Secretaries, as relevant.
