Coaches Aaron Heerings and Kim Rowden rotated the bench all day swapping from five players depending on availability. Sarsha Brooks covered us with the scoring whilst Michelle FitzGerald, Chris, Vanessa and Sue Brooks cheered us on. The kiosk had to send out for more chips and potato cakes after our team had lunch. Our students ran and ran all day. Well done and great work with our basketball skills, teamwork and manners. Ph: 97221944 ART CLASSES FOR CHILDREN- PRIMARY SCHOOL 5-12 YEARS Does your child love art and love to be creative? In this class, your child will have the opportunity to explore painting, drawing and sculpture with qualified art teacher Jessica McConnell. Jessica will introduce different techniques in a range of materials including clay, acrylic, Water colour, collage, paper Mache, oil pastel, charcoal and pencil. The classes will alternate between painting, sculpture and drawing projects to keep the experience fun and

dynamic. Your child will also have the freedom to create their own self-initiated work to explore their creativity and imagination. Date: 1st August-19th Sept. Wednesdays Time: 4.00-5.00pm Tutor: Jessica McConnell Cost: for 8 weeks $83 Plus materials $15 SCHOOL UNIFORM SHOP Our school uniform shop has chanced upon a box of brand new padded knee school track pants. Available in size 12, 8 and 6. $ 5.00 a pair. See Anita. ART CLASSES FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS 13 YEARS ONWARDS Do you love art at school but want to do more? In this class, you will have the opportunity to learn new techniques in a range of materials and to use these techniques to create your own selfinitiated work to express your own ideas. You will have the opportunity to work with materials such as clay, acrylic, water colour, wire and plaster, charcoal, oil pastel and ink wash, and pencil. You can use this class to help you to expand your folio for school or simply to enjoy the creative process and create art. Date: 1st August-19th Sept. BOOK WEEK-DRESS UP GARDENING SILVAN FRONT YARD STARTS TO THRIVE Many thanks to Peter Girschik and Ms Girschik for re-planting out many of the garden beds at the front of the school and sweeping the pathways. The front of the school is looking great.
