NCAA RECAP: In the first round of the Midwest Region, UNM met up with defending national champion Notre Dame at Thompson- Boling Arena on the campus of the University of Tennessee. The Lobos, seeded th, went almost minutes without a field goal as they lost to seventh-seeded Notre Dame, -. UNM scored a record-low points in the second half an NCAA mark for the first and second rounds.
