AGC BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES 2/09/2016 Meeting called to order at 7 PM by President Emmanuel Boyd. Present: Anthony, Artzer, Baker, Boyd, Desmond, Hirsch, Kohler, Mead, & Price I. CALL TO ORDER Pledge of Allegiance II. AGENDA 2.9.16.a Motion to accept the agenda Motion seconded and passed. Minutes III. MEMBERS FORUM AGC Member, Bob Steil Reminder to all members to carry their guns like they are always loaded (that would be with muzzle up and not sweeping). When bringing your gun to the range in a case, make sure that when you open the case, the gun is pointing down range. AGC Member Bob Steil He asked if we could use self-sealing targets on the 200 yard-range. AGC President, Emmanuel Boyd stated that you can, as long as they are set up on the right, in the bunker area. V. OLD BUSINESS Financial Report AGC Treasurer, Tom Desmond - In January our revenues were $16,988.73 and our expenses were $18,375.79 leaving a positive net change of $1,387.06. Our YTD revenue is $16,988.73 and our YTD expenses are $18,375.79 leaving a positive year to date change of $1387.06. Our account balances: Checking Account $149,118.69; Payroll Account $30,914.32; and Savings Account $417,240.39. Our assets with the JP Morgan Cash Holdings account is $23,785.35. Our Fixed income account balance is $22,366.38. Our Alternative Assets balance is $229,792.95. Total JP Morgan is $525,944.48. Maintenance 2nd VP, John Price I purchased a weather station. Once it is installed, members can go to our website and view wind and weather conditions prior to coming to the range. New roofs were put on sheds 4,6,10 and 11. The caretaker has updated/changed all of the locks with the new codes. The gate has been up and down. Curtis came from Integrated Systems to check our gate system and discovered we did not have a backup battery. He installed the battery and we are hopeful that this will eliminate our gate issues. We are also in the process of upgrading the modem in the clubhouse. 2016 Membership Survey AGC Secretary, Shirley Anthony We will send out a survey to our members. We realize that 10% of our members have not given us their email addresses. In order to participate in the survey, we must have an email address. Newsletter AGC Secretary, Shirley Anthony After reviewing the newsletter I didn t see where any changes could be made, but I would like to add a section titled Save the Date. This section will list upcoming events such as work parties, swap meets, elections, etc.. VI. NEW BUSINESS Incident Report AGC RO Terry Humbargar - The weather has been so cold that there is nothing to report. New Membership Orientation - Our first orientation was held Saturday and we had 36 new members show up. We have more orientation s scheduled over the next few weekends.

Our Administrative Assistant, Candy will be leaving us at the end of April. She and her husband will be moving to Georgia. We will miss her immensely. Our clubhouse manager Gina Shanks, would like to be considered for the position. The personnel committee will meet to make this decision. Classes will be held in the Education Trailer on the following dates: Basic AR-15 - Saturday March 5th from 9am - Noon M-1 Carbine - Saturday March 19th from9am - Noon Class will cover stripping, loading, cleaning, and troubleshooting. The AR-15 class will NOT cover piston system AR's. Bring your rifle or carbine, but NO LIVE AMMO. The best thing about these classes is that they are FREE and no reservations are required. You will work Saturday s and Sunday s for about 3-4 hours each day. Duties include but are not limited to: To supervise and train the trap person(s). To operate the front counter, cash register and sales operations. To supervise non-member shooter check-in. To manage the trap during business hours. To inventory club sales stock and shopping to replenish goods as needed to effect the smooth operation of the AGC. To include vending machine and snack items. To ensure refreshments/lunch is available during business hours. To make bank deposits, maintain cash receipts, club transactions, employee hours and deliver to President in a timely manner. To ensure that the clubhouse is cleaned and kept in a business like order. To attend Board of Director meetings the 2 nd Tuesday of each month. Qualified applicant will need to have a background check. This will be our annual Al Meader Spring Match. Al was one of our original shooters and had one of the most interesting military rifle collections. We will follow our normal 20 round slow fire format with 2 optional sighters. This year we will have a Distinguished Expert classification to keep the playing field fair. After our rifle match we will have our Military Pistol shot in the Magnum berm.
