12 Rodeo RoundUp 2018 photos by Fletch Chris Neal's Stars As the 2018 rodeo year comes to a close, four of of the world s largest youth roping events are preparing for takeoff. In 2019 Chris Neal Productions will launch a record number of world-class events from a foundation seventeen years in the making. As a family, we take a lot of pride in putting on the most professional and exciting productions in the industry for our contestants and their families, Neal said. Our goal from day one has always been to create an experience the youth of our sport will never forget. The newest edition to the production company, Las Vegas Stars, will be held for the first time in conjunction with this year s NFR. When we received a call from the Plaza asking if we would consider bringing our production to Las Vegas we were honored and beyond excited, Neal said. We immediately had a massive vision for the experience we could create for our kids and their families. Between the JR. American, Patriot, Future Stars, Rising Stars and Las Vegas Stars Calf Ropings, the production company anticipates 2019 will be a record-breaking year of contestant entries, sponsorships and cash payout. Neal said that the most gratifying part of his job is seeing the pride in the faces of the contestants who make the short round. From the dark house to the loud music and the booming crowd, watching these youngsters come out and tip their hats as their names are called for their moment in the spotlight is always the highlight of every event for me. Not to mention the mamas and the daddies you ve never seen any so proud. The reputation that Neal has built within the industry as a producer is one of quality and consistency. Our goal is always to grow and improve with each passing year, Neal said. Partnering with the Plaza Hotel, Casino & Arena, adding more events in conjunction with the new Jr American will bring more opportunities for these kids to compete and win making 2019 our most dynamic year yet.
