Terms & Conditions To qualify for society rates there must be a minimum of 12 golfers. A non-refundable deposit of 50 is payable upon booking. Final numbers and menu choices must be confirmed at least 48 hours (two working days i.e. Mon Fri) in advance of booking. Unnotified changes on the day to numbers and/or requirements will be subject to payment in full. On arrival the organiser should report to the main office. Full payment is due before golfing commences. All visitors are asked to comply with the Club rules and dress code. The society or group organiser is responsible for the conduct of the members both on the course and in the clubhouse. Dress Code On the Course Gentlemen A smart standard of recognised golf attire and golf shoes is required. Shirts should be tucked inside the waistband. Tailored shorts may be worn but only with white or black socks. Socks may be calf length or lower but must be visible. Shorts must be nearer the knee than the top of the thigh. Not permitted on the Course Shirts without collars (other than Turtle shirts), shirts cut above the waist or hanging loose outside the waistband, coloured socks when worn with shorts, beachwear, any shirt other than a recognised golf shirt, blue denim jeans, trainers, cargo shorts or similar styled trousers. On the Course Ladies A smart standard of recognised golf attire and golf shoes is required. Ladies tops may be worn outside the waistband if so fashioned. Tops must be collared and can be either with or without sleeves. Fashioned golf skirts and shorts may be worn. Socks must be worn. Not permitted on the Course Blue denim jeans, trainers, beachwear, cargo shorts or similar styled trousers.
The Clubhouse/Balcony Men Golfing attire and smart informal clothing is permitted in keeping with the standards of the Club; such clothing to be clean and presentable. Golf shirts to be kept inside the waistband. When informal clothing is worn shirts may be worn outside the waistband if so fashioned. During BST socks need not be worn if suitable complementary footwear is worn i.e. deck shoes, trainers and sandals. Socks are always to be worn at all other times and with other footwear. Jeans may be worn within the Clubhouse provided they are smart, clean, not distressed or torn. Dimple style golf shoes are acceptable if they are clean. Jacket and tie should be worn in the dining area after 7pm unless specified otherwise. Not permitted in the Clubhouse/Balcony Men Spiked golf shoes, wet golf attire, wet suits, flip flops, collarless shirts (except tailored turtle shirts), and headwear of any description, track or shell suits. The Clubhouse/ Balcony Ladies Golfing attire and smart informal clothing is permitted in keeping with the standards of the Club; such clothing to be clean and presentable. Fashioned tops may be worn outside the waistband. Socks are not required when wearing suitable footwear. Jeans may be worn within the Clubhouse provided they are smart, clean not distressed or torn. Dimple style golf shoes may be worn if they are clean. Suitable attire to be worn in the Dining area after 7pm unless specified otherwise. Not permitted in the Clubhouse/Balcony Ladies Spiked golf Shoes, wet golf attire, wet suits, flip flops, headwear of any description. track or shell suits. Mobile Phones Mobile phones and similar devices should be in silent mode at all times and used with consideration of others. No telephone conversations are allowed within the bar/dining areas. Discretion Discretion on this code may be given by the Golf Manager/Secretary based upon any religious or medical grounds or in the case of specific functions.
