THE WEATHER OF DENVER Denver enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year (more than San Diego) Although it does snow in Denver it typically snows double the amount, 125 miles west in the Rocky Mountains March through November the weather is perfect for playing and practicing DU is on a quarter system. Our students are on winter break from November to January, which is a 6 week break.

UNIVERSITY OF WOMEN S GOLF ACADEMICS DU had the 6 th best GPA in all NCAA programs in the 2015-2016 season. This includes all Div. one, two & three programs, with a 3.8 gpa for the entire academic year. DU ATHLETICS RESOURCES Strength and Conditioning Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Matt Shaw is very knowledgeable about the human body and the correct nutrition and exercises for optimal performance Tutoring Tutoring is offered for all classes at 3 hours per class, per week Denver International Airport (DIA) DIA is located 25 miles away from campus DIA is one of the major airports in the United States which allows direct flights to most major cities
DU ATHLETICS RESOURCES TrackMan This year the Women s golf program purchased a brand new TrackMan Sports Psychology- Vision 54 training, individual sessions, and work on mental skills throughout the season full time sports psychologist on staff
HEAD COACH LINDSAY KUHLE Enters her sixth season as head coach in 2017-18. Has led Denver to five league/conference championships in her first five years in charge. Played her collegiate career at Tulane, winning two conference championships, Student-Athlete of the year for Tulane in 2005, and WGCA Academic All-American in 2005. Led her team in scoring average her sophomore season. Was an assistant/associate head coach with the Pioneers for seven seasons prior to the 2012-13 season. Helped guide DU to a program-best fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships in 2009. Five-time Coach of the Year selection. Has won four conference championships as an assistant in the Sun Belt. Won three conference championships as an associate head coach in 2011.
