Good by to Brandt By: Katie Brandt Faivre will be graduating 8th grade this year. His attitude has been awesome through his years here, according to his teachers. His favorite teacher was his second grade teacher and she also had very nice things to say about him. He said his years here at Harding were fun between the games at recess, and hanging with friends. The worst part was definitely Language Arts. I always dreaded that class, he said. He is very caring and fun to be around. He is someone who will always be there to help you when you fall. He recalled a time his family had to gone to Wisconsin Dells, and one of his friends was on their boat tubing with Brandt. This was years ago when Brandt was probably 10. His friend fell off and Brandt knew he was scared of the water. Brandt fell off, too, to comfort his friend. His advice to fellow 8th graders is to always get your work done, and to always listen to your teachers because they are just trying to help. Brandt will be greatly missed, but we wish him luck in High School! Go Get em, Gabe By: Hunter O. Gabe is moving on into high school. His best friend is Connor. His advice for 7th graders going into 8th grade is don t make Mrs. Gregor mad. His favorite sport is basketball. His favorite memory in class was when Mrs. Gregor told them about the story of a kid getting called Four Eyes. He doesn t have a favorite project. His favorite sibling at home is Luke. Gabe plays two sports. He is excited to move on to high school and he thinks that high school should be harder. Gabe is a great friend. Also he is a hard worker and finishes most of his homework on time. We wish him the best of luck in high school. Gabe s Favorite Quote Follow your heart, but take your brain with you. Alfred Adler Brandt s Favorite Quote You miss 100% of the shots you don t take. Wayne Gretzky Page 2

Terrific True By: Aubrie The year is coming to an end and the 8th graders are going off to high school. True came to Harding at the middle of 7th grade. She had gone to Nettle Creek for just over a year. She liked Harding because it was small, and didn t seem too big. Also, here at Harding, the teachers were sweet. One of her most embarrassing moments was when she had sneezed and it was really loud. She had lots of memories here and they were with some of her friends. Connor, Katie, Mollie, and Aubrie all helped her. She will be going to Serena High School with her classmates here at Harding. She will be taking Algebra l, English, P.E., Biology, World History, Spanish, and Drivers Ed. True plans on being with her friends from Harding who are going to be Sophomores next year. She will be missed. True s Favorite Quote If you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, you ll be successful. Eric Thomas We Will Miss You Macy By: Khloe Macy will be going into high school this upcoming year. She might be playing some sports in High School, but she still doesn't really know yet. She is going to miss the teachers a lot because they teach very well. She wanted to give some advice to all of the Harding kids. Listen to the teachers, because they are trying to help you in every single way. Always behave in class. She doesn't have any favorite subjects because she said that she doesn't like choosing favorites. Her best friend in 8th grade is Kamryn. Her funniest moment in 8th grade was when she kept on making hilarious egg jokes during the egg drop. Some of them were, This is going to be eggtastic!, She is ova all of this egg drop business., She is eggstatic., They did and eggcellent job. She will miss all of the teachers. Her favorite memory is when Kamryn and Macy were rollerskating and then they fell because of a little kid. Then Macy accidently punched Kamryn in the face. She can tell that High School will be pretty entertaining. Macy will be greatly missed but we wish her the best of luck in high school for the next 4 years. Macy s Favorite Quote You don t always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go and see what happens Page 3

Her favorite field trip is the 8th grade trip in which she looks forward to hanging out with her best friend, Addie. During school hours her favorite period is lunch. She is looking forward to not having Macy in all her classes. Her hobbies include horseback riding and playing volleyball. Her favorite movie is The Fault in our Stars, and she likes the color teal the most. Ashton strives to have good grades and thinks that everyone else should have the same goal. Connor s Year By: Jacqueline We all know Connor Baker. He is the one who is always on the Honor Roll, star athlete at Soccer and Basketball, and 678 club president. But do we know that he s going to high school next year. Connor s most embarrassing moment in the was giving his speech to be president of 678 club, but this embarrassment was a success because he got the job and was excellent. The thing Connor will miss most from Harding is recess, yes, you read it correctly, recess. In high school there is no recess. Connor s advice to the future rs is turn in homework on time, and don t get on Mrs.Gregor's bad side. Connor s most memorable events were going on the trips with his best friends Wesley, Brandt, and Gabe. He will miss his class because he knew some of them since kindergarten. He will also miss being in the same class with his pals. His biggest fears as a future freshmen is not knowing where to go and being with older kids.if Connor could do the 8th Grade again, he would do it the exact same way. Good luck Connor!
