PREMISES Art. 1) The Dolomitics24 is an endurance cycling competition that lasts 24 hours and that has to be completed respecting this regulation, accepted and signed. The O.C. can change or/and introduce new rules to the regulation if necessary for the race safety. After the deadline for the registration, every change will be notified at the pre-race briefing. The race will not be suspended for any reasons expect for rescue units operations or for grave meteorological events (landslides, earthquake, massive snowfall). The participant alone can retire himself from the race of by decision of the O.C. if he violated some rules. REGISTRATION Art. 2) Every over-age athlete can participate to the race by presenting a health certificate for sport or a team card recognized by ACSI, FCI CONI or UISP. At the moment of the bib collection, the athletes will have to bring the original card with them, that must be valid for the entire year. For those who don't have a valid card, a valid health certificate is compulsory. The original certificate must be handed in at the race office and must be valid. The foreign athletes have to present a specific cycling health certificate. Art. 4) For the participation to the competition every athlete must browse to www.dolomitics.it and do the following steps: Fill in the online form Wait for the O.C. response and send the following documents: o Responsibility acceptance; o Payment confirmation; o Copy of health certificate or team card; o Copy of the signed regulation( for teams, every member will have to sign a copy) Art. 5) Every participant SOLO or TEAM has to choose a Team Manager(in Team2 and Team4 the Team Manager can be one of the participant), reachable by phone, in such a way that the is possible to do the following: Communicate with the manager if needed for any reason;

One manager can represent maximum 3 athletes(plus himself); Manager can stand on the checkpoint area; Manager can communicate to the race directors; Manager can talk on the name of the bikers; Art. 6) For organization reasons the registration will close when reached the maximum number or anyway Monday the 5th of Juny. After that day, registration can be accepted with an additional fee. The organization is not responsible for accidents that can happen before, after and during the race to the athletes or to others. Art. 7) Every kind of bike is accepted if pushed only by human legs(no recumbent). Is forbidden the use of prosthesis and disc wheels. Considered the environment where the race takes place, we consider these materials helpless. SAFETY Art. 8) The participant must consider himself like a "solo excursionist", must respect the road law and the civil law, must wear the helmet. The participant must know the roads and their environment. The participant MUST NOT ride on one side of another biker or in a group. REMEMBER THAT THE ROAD IS NOT CLOSED TO CARS! Art. 8 bis) At the road crosses at the end of the downhill from Passo pampeago and at the left turn to Pramadiccio during the downhill from Passo Lavazè, the athletes don't have to stop at the STOP signal if are not coming. Otherwise they have to stop and if they don't they get a 30'' penalty. For all the other crosses the road law is valid. Art. 9) In the case of non-sufficient light in tunnels or during the night, the biker must respect the road law and be prepared with the materials. The C.O. suggests to have a lighting system on the bike and to wear a mandatory night jacket after 7 p.m.. The participant must show to the O.C. their lighting system before starting. If the lighting system is not OK, the race director can deny the permission to start. It also mandatory to wear reflective materials if the light is not enough. Art. 10) The participant must be able to complete the track alone and therefore without any assistance. The feed is only possible in the selected feeding zone. Art. 11) For no reason is permitted to ride on the track in the wrong, reverse way, expect in the change area. Art. 12) There will be a technical support available for those whoa re not able to fix the problem by themselves. The participant will have to wait for the car to come and help him out. If the damage is not fixable, the participant can: complete the track on his feet;

go to the change area accompanied by the technical support but the current lab won't be counted as valid. Art. 13) The event won't be interrupted for meteorological reasons but only for organizational or/and security reasons. Art. 14) In case of an interruption, the participant must stay inside the track and complete the lap. Art. 15) In the case of an interruption, the system will stop the race time and prepare a non-official ranking list. If it'll not be possible to complete the race, the ranking list will be official. Art. 16) The participant will have to stay in contact with the race direction that will advise the participants for the re-start of the race 30 minutes in advance. Art. 17) Medical assistance and first aid has given by official member of the medical system, from the start to the finish. Assistance during the race can be given only on particular spots and the biker has to get off the bike. After the assistance, the commissary will decide if the biker can go on or not. The decision of the commissary cannot be claimed. TIME TRACKING Art. 18) Every participant will receive a chip that must be fixed to the bike. In every moment the biker on the road must have the chip with him. In case of the team race, the chip must then be given to the next athlete. Art. 19) To validate the lap the athlete must pass over the check magnetic carpet located in Stava Town. THE RACE Art. 20) The bib collection can be done Friday the 16th Juny from 16.00 to 20.00 and Saturday 17th Juny from 7:30 to 8:30. From 20:30 there will be the pre-race briefing with all the last news. The Dolomitics24 will start at 11:00 Saturday 17th Juny 2017 and will conclude after 24 hours and therefore at 11:00 of Sunday 18th Juny 2017. Art. 21) The official time of Dolomitics24 is monitored by the time tracking system of Stava town and will start at 11:00. To do the last lap, the athletes will have to pass the check point before the time of 23:59 and will have to complete this last lap before 27 hours of race. If the laps completed are the same, the time of the last lap will count. Art. 22) The bib will have to be fixed on the front part of the bike. The bib cannot be covered or removed in any way. It must always be visible to the staff and to the other participants. Every participant will receive a plastic bib to fix on the bike and a cloth bib to be fixed on the back of the shirt. Every category will have a specific easy numeration.

Art. 23) Every participant can decide freely and in any way to leave for a bit the race, only if he finished the lap. He can then go back to the race whenever he wants or leave it definitely. The decision must be communicated to the O.C. The rider that decides to leave the race cannot come back to race and must remove the bib. Art. 24) If a participant decides to stop outside the track for more than 1 hour, this must be communicated to the O.C. Art. 25) The change area is a part of the circuit where the athletes will pass every lap. Every SOLO participant will have a space of 3 3 mt where he can have his own gazebo/tend. The Team2 and Team4 will have a space of 3x6mt. In the case a participant doesn't have a gazebo or something similar, he can have the space anyway. Every tend must stay inside the space. The space will be asphalted, please notice it. The assemblage of tend/gazebo must be done from Friday the 16th from 15:00 until Saturday the 17th Juny at 9:00. The participants can receive assistance from their team manager of from the team mates inside or in front of their space. Some base feeding will be offered(pasta and water) to the participants and the team responsible( max 2 responsible per team). Art. 26) The enter to the change area will be visible so that the athletes can decide if go on or change. The area can be also entered by SOLO athletes that decide to have a break or change clothing. Art. 27) Every participant that want to change, have to enter the change area and proceed slowly remaining on the bike. Only athletes who wants to change are allowed to the area. Art. 28) The chip can be given to the next athlete only in the change area. Art. 29) Every non-regular act in the change area can be punished with the deletion of the lap. Art. 30) The number of changes, the moment in which they are done, can be decided by the teams. Art. 31) The national participants must be member of the national federation of the hosting Country or be in posses of a valid license in the Country where the event takes place, as stated in the regulation of the national federation of the main Countries. Art. 32) In every category wins the participant who concludes more laps. The ranking list will be published periodically every 6 hours circa. The temporary final ranking list will be published on Sunday the 17th Juny. This can be claimed until 13:30. After that time, the ranking list will be official. Art. 33) In the ranking list the laps completed has the highest priority, then comes the time elapsed. Art. 34) The team captain who wants to claim the result, has to write a statement and give 100,00 caution, that will be given back if the claim is accepted.

Art. 35) Team Manager is the most important role. In fact, despite being also the soul of the team, he is the responsible of the team in the communication with the O.C. Every team must have its own manager. The captain will be the responsible for the behavior of the team. The team manager can be captain only of one team. The team manager can be elected between one of the registered athlete and he can therefore be an external person inside the track. Art. 36) The price giving ceremony will be held on Sunday at 14:00. The first three for every category will be prized. Art. 37) In the case an athlete looses his transponder, the captain must go to the O.C. and refer it. The transponder cost will be paid by the team. The team, to obtain another transponder, must instantly pay the transponder cost. PENALTY & CHECKS Art. 38) For the check of the race regularity, race officials will be nominated from the race judge. The race officials won't be recognizable along the track and they can directly punish athletes or other team members. Then they will communicate with the race judges. Art. 39) Every infraction to one of this rule or during a check in the race will be punished with the admonition or with the disqualify of the athlete. In case of an athlete disqualify, the team can go on but one lap will be deleted. The race official can stop the biker, punish him and tell the rules; If the race official judges the athlete as not regular for security reasons, he is authorized to stop the biker temporary or definitely; The race official can disqualify the athlete; The race official can go around the track without limitations. Every participant can communicate to the race officials or to the O.C. any violations together with some media. Art. 40) In the case of a road law violation, the athlete will be stopped 30 seconds in the change area. With 2 violations, 1 lab will be deleted. In case of 3 violations, the athlete will be disqualified. If the athlete cannot be notified about disqualify, the team manager will be notified. Art. 41) The participants must have respect to the other athletes, the organization, the flora and the fauna. Trash must be taken to the change area. If trash is thrown to the ground, the team will be disqualified. Art. 42) Is forbidden to substitute or be substituted by any other athlete during the track. If this happen, the lap will be deleted. Is forbidden to join the race to help athletes of other teams. If athletes help each other they can be disqualified.

Art. 43) The following violations will be punished with the disqualify: 2 violations of the road law; posses of illegal substances; complete a lap or a part of the lap aboard of any vehicle; Don't accept the race official decisions; Wrong behavior that can cause security problems for others; Throw of any kind of trash along the course; Art. 44) Regarding violations of lower order: 1 penalty = 30 seconds stop in the change area; 2 penalties = deletion of 1 lap; 3 penalties = disqualify; DATE: NAME AND SURNAME 1: 2: 3: 4: Team Manager: SIGNATURE FOR ACCEPTANCE 1: 2: 3: 4: Team Manager: PLEASE KEEP ON READING THE DOCUMENT, SIGN THE RESPONSIBILITY ACCEPATANCE DOCUMENT AND SEND IT WITH THIS PAGE, COMPLETELY SIGNED.
