In additin every chapter prvides precise safety advice fr the preventin f dangers which are highlighted by the use f the abve mentined symbls. By fllwing all the imprtant safety advice yu gain an ptimal prtectin against all hazards as well as the assurance f a safe and truble-free peratin. 2.1 General Infrmatin This device is designed in accrdance with the presently applicable technlgical standards. Hwever, the device can pse a danger if handled imprperly and inapprpriately. Knwing the cntents f the instructin manual as well as aviding mistakes and thus perating this device safely and in a fault-free manner is very essential t prtect yurselves frm the hazards. 2.2 Safety instructins fr the cmmercial use f the device The specificatins regarding the industrial safety are based n the Regulatins f the Eurpean Unin applicable at the time f manufacturing the device. If the device is used cmmercially, the user is bliged t ensure that the said industrial safety measures cncur with the state f the rules and regulatins applicable at the time in questin fr the entire perid f use f the device and t cmply with the new specificatins. Outside the Eurpean Unin, the industrial safety laws applicable at the place f installatin f the device and the reginal territrial prvisins must be cmplied with. Besides the industrial safety instructins in the instructin manual, the general safety and accident preventin regulatins as well as envirnment prtectin regulatins applicable fr area f applicatin f the device must be fllwed and cmplied with. The unit is nt intended fr use by individuals (including children) with physical r mental disabilities, insufficient experience, and/r insufficient knwledge unless such persns are under the care f a persn respnsible fr their safety r have received instructins regarding apprpriate use f the unit. Children shuld be bserved t ensure that they are nt playing with the unit. Preserve this manual safely. When passing n/selling the device t a third party, the manuals must be handed ver alng with the device. Every persn using the device must act in accrdance t the manuals and under cnsideratin f the safety advice. The device is t be used indrs nly. 2.3 Intended use Safe peratin is nly guaranteed when using the device fr its intended purpse. Any technical interventins, as well as assembly and maintenance are t be made by a qualified custmer service nly. The sausage warmer is nly intended fr the warming f sausages. D nt use the sausage warmer fr: - The warming f ther fdstuffs; - Warming f fluids cntaining sugar, acids, leaches r alchls, - Filling and warming f warm, inflammable, nxius r vlatilizing r similar fluids r materials. D nt use the device fr anything beynd r ther than its intended use. The manufacturer and/r authrized parties d nt accept any claims resulting frm damage caused by using the device nt accrding t its intended use. The peratr is ttally liable fr any such damage. Observing the instructins fr installatin, use, maintenance and cleaning is cnsidered part f the intended use. 3. Delivery, packaging and strage 3.1 Delivery check Please check the delivery upn cmpleteness and transprt damage immediately after receipt. - 18 -

Hidden damages shuld be reclaimed immediately after ntice, as claims fr damages can nly be asserted within the effective perid fr cmplaints. 3.2 Packaging Please d nt thrw away the cvering cartn f yur device as it might be useful fr strage purpses, when mving r, in case f damages, when the device must be sent back t a repair center. The uter and inner packing material shuld be remved cmpletely frm the device befre installatin. If yu liked t dispse the packing, cnsider the regulatins applicable in yur cuntry. Supply re-usable packing materials t the recycling. Please inspect the device upn cmpleteness. In case any part is missing please cntact ur custmer service center immediately. 3.3 Strage Keep the package clsed until installatin and under cnsideratin f the utside indicated psitining- and strage markings. Packages shuld be stred under cnsideratin f the fllwing: - D nt stre utdrs. - Keep it dry and dust-free. - D nt expse it t aggressive media. - D nt expse it t direct sunlight. - Avid mechanical shcks and vibratin. - In case f lnger strage (> 3 mnths) make sure yu check the state f the packaging and the parts regularly. In rder t avid injuries d nt tuch any ht parts! D nt use the device if it des nt functin prperly, has been damaged r drpped. D nt use any accessry r spare parts that have nt been recmmended by the manufacturer. These can be dangerus fr the user, r lead t damage f the device r persnal injury, and furthermre invalidate the warranty. D nt lay the cable ver carpets r heat insulatins. D nt cver the cable. Keep the cable away frm perating range and d nt dunk it int water. D nt mve r tilt the device during peratin. WARNING! Hazard via electrical current! The device may cause injuries due t imprper installatin! - 20 -

Befre installatin, the lcal pwer grid specificatin shuld be cmpared with that f the device (see type label). Cnnect the device nly in case f cmpliance! Take nte f the security advice! 5.2 Installatin and cnnectin Discard the cmplete packing material after unpacking the device. Place the device n tp f an even and safe surface which supprts the weight f the device and is nt heat sensitive. Nt at any time shuld yu place the device n an inflammable surface (such as: table clth, carpet, etc.). Yu must nt psitin the device near pen fireplaces, electric vens/arc furnaces, furnaces/electric heaters r ther heat surces. When psitining the device, maintain a safety distance f 10cm frm walls r ther bjects. Psitin the device in such a way that the plug is easily accessible. 5.3 Operating Befre first use, clean the device inside and ut with warm water, a sft damp clth and mild detergent. Wipe dwn with clean water afterwards. Clean the liftable cver and the grill tray under running water using mild detergent and a sft clth. Rinse with clean water afterwards. Place the grill tray in the cntainer. Then place the desired amunt f sausages in the device n the grill tray. Fill with the desired amunt f water. WARNING! Risk f scalding! When filling the cntainer with water, ensure that yu d nt fill abve the "MAX" mark. Overflwing excess water can lead t scalding injuries! Fill the device with warm water, this saves time and energy! Place the cver n the cntainer. Plug the device t an earthed single electrical scket. Switch n the device at the ON/OFF tggle switch. Set the required temperature (30-90 C) using the temperature cntrl dial. The green heating cntrl light is lit. As sn as the set temperature is reached, the cntrl light switches ff. If the temperature in the cntainer drps, the device autmatically switches back n and heats t the set temperature again. The sausages can thus be kept warm fr the required perid f time. - 21 -

Ensure that the water level des nt drp belw the MIN mark! Check the water level frequently during use and refill when required. Never use the device withut water! T serve the warm sausages simply remve them frm the device. WARNING! Risk f scalding! When pening the cver and remving the sausages, steam may escape and lead t scalding f the hands, arms r face. Use pt hlders r prtective glves when pening the device! Remve the sausages frm the device using tngs r a frk with a lng handle. Switch ff the device and separate it frm the electrical scket (Pull the cable ut f the scket!) when it is nt being used. 6. Cleaning and care 6.1 Safety advice Befre beginning with repair r cleaning wrks make sure the device has been discnnected frm the pwer scket (pull the pwer plug!!!) and has cled dwn. D nt use any acid agents and make sure n water ingresses the device. T prtect yurself frm electric shck, never immerse the device, its cables and the plug in water r ther liquids. The device is nt suited fr direct washing via water jets. Therefre, yu must nt use any kind f pressure water jet fr cleaning the device! 6.2 Cleaning and decalcifying Cleaning The device shuld be cleaned regularly. Befre cleaning, drain the water using the drainage tap r simply tip ut the water. WARNING! Risk f scalding! Always allw the water t cl befre tipping it ut r draining it with the drainage tap. Ht water splashes can lead t scalding injuries! - 22 - Clean the cver and the grill tray in running water using a mild detergent and a sft clth. Only use a sft clth and make sure yu never use any kind f abrasive agents r pads which culd scratch the surface. Rinse ut the cntainer with warm water and a mild detergent. Wipe clean with clean water and then dry thrughly.

When cleaning the versin f the device with the drainage tap, ensure that the tap is als cleaned after the fluid is drained. Pur warm water int the cntainer, wash it with mild detergent and a sft clth and then drain this thrugh the drainage tap. Rinse the cntainer with clean water and drain with the drainage tap again, and then dry with a sft clth. WARNING! Electrical hazard! Never wash the device under running water! Water can enter the device and lead t electric shck! After the cleaning prcedure, yu shuld use a sft and dry clth t wipe dry and plish the surface. Make sure the device has been cleaned prperly befre string it in a dry place. Decalcifying Fr hygiene reasns, the cntainer must be cleaned at least twice per day! Unsuitable water cnditins, cmbined with salt, fat and spices that the sausages release int the water create an aggressive water mix which even attacks metal. Fr the abve-mentined reasns, decalcify the cntainer regularly. Use a cmmercial decalcifier r a mixture f water and vinegar. Cmplaints will nt be accepted if the device is nt decalcified regularly as described in the instructin manual. Such cmplaints are n cases f warranty! 6.3 Safety instructins fr maintenance Check the mains lead frm time t time t ensure it is nt damaged in any way. Never use the device if the lead is damaged. If the lead is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician. In case f damage r malfunctin, please cntact yur stckist r ur custmer service centre. Only a qualified technician using riginal spare parts and accessries shuld carry ut repairs and maintenance f the device. D nt attempt t repair the device yurself. 7. Trubleshting Prblem Cause Slutin Cntrl lights d nt g n when the temperature level has been adjusted. The plug has nt been put in the scket. The cntrl light is impaired. Put the plug in the scket. Cntact the salesman. - 23 -

The device is n, the temperature adjuster is adjusted, the device des nt wrk. The device des nt wrk. The heating element is impaired. Prtectin against verheating has been activated. Cntact the salesman. Press the RESET buttn at the bttm f the device. *** *** The device is equipped with prtectin against verheating. If the safety buttn is activated, the device switches ff autmatically. In such a case yu need t d the fllwing: Take ut the plug. Leave the device t cl. Empty the cntainer. Press the RESET buttn (the pin) in the bttm part f the device as sn as the device has cled ff. A clear clicking can be heard. The device is ready t wrk again. If the device still is nt ready t wrk, please infrm custmer service. 8. Waste dispsal Discarding ld devices At the end f its service life, the discarded device has t be dispsed in accrdance with natinal regulatins. It is advisable t cntact a cmpany which is specialized in waste dispsal, r just cntact the lcal dispsal service in yur cmmunity. WARNING! T exclude any abuse and the dangers invlved, make the waste device unfit fr use befre dispsal. Fr this purpse, discnnect device frm mains supply and remve mains cnnectin cable frm the device. Fr the dispsal f the device, please cnsider and act accrding t the natinal and lcal rules and regulatins. - 24 -
