Horses & Ponies Lot 1. ROSIE Skewbald Mare, 6 years old, 13.2hh. Sweet-natured, easy to do. Hunted, done pony club, dressage, professionally schooled, pops a pole. Hasn t been ridden for a couple of months due to lack of time. Goes first or last. Easy to load. OK in traffic. Lot 2. BRACKEN Bay Gelding, 7 years old, 12hh approx. Dartmoor Gelding. Friendly boy, suitable for second pony or small adult. Good to catch, box and with farrier/dentist. Lot 3. SEPPY Dark Bay Gelding, 15 years old, 12hh. Dartmoor Gelding Foxleat Scepter pretty and smart looking pony who is good to box and with farrier/dentist. Would suit a confident jockey, not novice ride. Lot 4. CUL EUGENIE By Cui Seren Aur Reg Welsh Section A Mare, 6 year old. Very smart show pony has been shown in hand with great success is unbroken but very well handled she very kind mare - sound. Lot 5. CILANE CANDY FLOSS Reg Section A Dunn Filly by Rosegarth Hywell 11.2hh. Born January 2016. Very smart well bred filly with outstanding colour and confirmation bone and presence. This filly has huge future in the show ring or as a broodmare. Only been handled the last week but is coming on really well. Lot 6. ANNIE 5 year old Chestnut Mare, 15 hh approx.. IDX TB smart good looking homebred mare, broken last year and then turned away. She s now back in work hacking out alone and in company. Good in traffic and has light snaffle mouth, and good manners. Sold sound and correct. Lot 7. POLLYANNA 8 year old, 14.2hh approx.. Palomino and White Connemara x Cob. Good looking mare, has been well handled and has bred two outstanding foals, she is also homozygous. She is now ready to break and produce. Sound and no vices. Lot 8. JOLLY IMP By Ryelands Sea Master by Master Imp, 8 years old, 16.1hh very well bred Irish bred hunter that is well schooled jumps well and cross any country and is very good hunter. He has been out on hound exercise for the last month and is ready to start cubbing. No stables vices and sound. Lot 9. MAPEL 5 year old, Shetland Mare 28" Very pretty well marked mare she has good confirmation bone. Is quiet to handle and has been sat on. Lot 10. MELDON Shetland Gelding Yearling. Very well marked, pretty, small Shetland. Handled and quiet.
Lot 11. AMBLEWOOD ROCKY Shetland Gelding. 15 months old. Very smart, wellhandled and very small. Lot 12. SILVER SPRING BLACK TIE Black Cob Mare, 5 years old. Stunning Irish bred Mare. Well-schooled, quiet, sensible, smart potential show Cob. Has hunted in county Wexford, quiet to hack alone and in company. Has a snaffle mouth and is never strong or silly. Warranted sound, vice-less, but does need to fly rug which comes with her. Lot 13. JOHN Black yearling Gelding, to make approx. 13.2hh. Has been halter broken and handled, bathed and rugged. Wormed on 26/5/17. Lot 14. JAMES Piebald yearling Gelding to make approx. 13hh. Halter broken and handled, eating hard food, bathed, rugged and wormed 26/5/17. Lot 15. GOLDIE Chestnut female, DOB 26/4/11, 15.3hh. Bandmaster sired out of Ringagold. Tried in point-to-point as a 4 year old but never raced. Hunted last season and was a good, steady, hard as nails horse to hunt, but not big enough to carry me. Would be a super ladies hunter next season. Loves her work. Warranted sound. Good to shoe, catch. Has whipped in with myself riding and was safe with hounds. Happy in the field or on her own out hunting. Lot 16. SUNSHINE Red and White Mare, 6 years old, 14.3hh. Lovely mare, been running with red and white Welsh part-bred stallion. Good strong broodmare is not broken to ride. Easy kind mare to do. Change of direction means his mare has to go. Grand-daughter of event stallion Jumbo ½ Romanian Cob, ½ ID x TB.
Lot 17. MAISEY Black and White Mare, 13 years old, 14hh. Strong Cob Mare, been used as a broodmare. Just had the saddle back on her last week. Good as gold, weight carrying type, not a ploddy horse can move for fun, not in foal. Lot 18. ROSCO 9 years old, 13.2hh Black Gelding. Registered New Forest Pony, Black Gelding. Present home for last 6 years. Regularly ridden around farm by experienced adult. Not ridden since last autumn and un-shod since then. 92 year old owner given up riding. Lot 19. APPLEDORE MISS SEDONA Sedona is a Chestnut Mare, 14 years old, 15.3hh. Warranted as Purebred 100% American Saddlebred and registered with United Saddlebred Association (USA-UK) Stud Book Ref: Appendix A Volume 1, Number 17. She is broken to ride, but not ridden since last year, as no rider. Lot 20. FRONARTH WILL SPARC Stunning Welsh Section D Bay Colt born May 2016. Sire Supreme Champion Geler Sparc. Dam Champion Fronarth Zeta Jones. Full brother to the beautiful Champion Michelle Keegan. Superb show/ridden/breeding prospect. Terms and Conditions of Sale 1. The bidding is to be regulated by the Auctioneers. In any dispute, the Auctioneers decision shall be final. 2. All lots are to be paid for at the close of the sale by cash or card. 3. At the fall of the hammer the lot is then the sole responsibility of the purchaser unless the passport has been proven to be incorrect. 4. All purchasers must check their passports and be satisfied they are correct before leaving the market premises. 5. Any horse or pony found with an incorrect passport after the fall of the hammer will result in the sale being cancelled and the vendor may be charged. 6. Purchasers are asked to register for a bidding number in the office before the auction begins with a full name & address and to take stock with all faults and errors in description, if any. 7. Upon failure of compliance with the conditions, the Auctioneers shall be at liberty to re-sell the lots, either by public auction of private contract. The deficiency, if any, together with all expenses affecting the re-sale shall be made by the defaulter at the present sale who shall have no claim upon the Auctioneers for any surplus which may arise from the sale. 8. The vendors supply the particulars in the catalogue and the Auctioneers take no responsibility for the correction of such. 9. The Auctioneers will not accept for sale any foals less than 4 months of age except when at foot with their dams. Also ailing or injured animals will not be accepted. 10. A HORSE SOLD WITHOUT WARRANTY OR AS SEEN OR AS STANDS MAY ONLY BE RETURNED TO THE VENDOR IF, BY LAW, ITS CONDITION PROHIBITS ITS SALE. 11. Horses being described as good hunters must be quiet to ride, with hounds and traffic, are sound in wind, eyes & heart and not lame. The horse must be capable of being hunted and must not be crib biters or weavers. Good hacks must be quiet to ride and quiet with traffic & sound. Good workers must be sound and capable of good work, staunch and not shiver. Good jumpers, regularly ridden, regularly hunted etc. must be declared as such or alternatively sold with warranty of description. Ages, heights and veterinary certificates do not constitute warranty except in the case of horses described as thoroughbred, registered etc. which must be registered in the General Stud Book under the breed as given at the time of sale. 12. In the case of any horse warranted in any way and does not comply with such warranty, the Auctioneers should be informed no later than 12 noon on the second day following the sale giving the nature of the complaint. The Auctioneers will then hold payment to the vendor until the matter is settled. When it is a question of soundness, a certificate of a qualified veterinary surgeon must be forwarded to the Auctioneers without delay, stating in what respect the horse does not comply with the warranty. If the foregoing conditions are not complied with the purchaser shall be bound to keep the horse with all its faults and shall not have claim for damages or otherwise against any other person in respect of the said sale. 13. A horse shall be sold WITHOUT WARRANTY where no details are given other than its AGE or HEIGHT. 14. In the event of any decision under Clause 8 here of in favour of the purchaser, the sale of the horse shall be annulled and the purchaser shall be entitled to receive any sum paid by way of purchase money, without interest and he shall have no claim for damages or breach of warranty or for any expenses incurred in returning the horse or otherwise in conjunction with the said sale. The party against whom the decision is given shall pay all expenses incurred by the Auctioneers including the cost of examination. 15. In the event of a horse being returned to the vendor for any reason the purchaser shall be liable for the cost of the return as far as Exeter Livestock Centre or the vendor s holding, whichever journey shall be shorter. In the former case the vendor shall be liable for the cost of the remainder of the journey. 16. No warranty of any kind will be given with regard to the sale of saddler and other equipment. 17. No animals are to enter the market without being offered for sale by the Auctioneer through the sale ring. Any person found to be selling animals or goods privately will be requested to leave the premises and commission will be charged to the vendor at the reserve price.
