PEPSI ARENA...HOME OF THE HAWKS Pepsi Arena as we know it is in it's 17th year. Pepsi Arena was part of a renovation that featured the addition of the Quincy University Health and Fitness Center which includes three multi-purpose courts, an indoor track, racquetball courts, a weight room and an aerobics/dance room. Prior to being renamed Pepsi Arena, the court's name was the Quincy Memorial Gymnasium. The groundbreaking for the gym was in November 1948. The cornerstone was placed in April of 1950 with the dedication by Fr. Provincial Eligius Weir, OFM, in December of that year. The Mart Heinen Club helped fund the construction of the gym annex, which was completed in 1973. In 1991 the gym underwent an extensive renovation project and in the summer of 1993, the court received the addition of the Hawk emblem at center court. No matter what the name of the arena, Quincy has always had a great following and some of the best fans in the nation. The court has seen numerous memorable moments, from hosting NCAA Tournament games to featuring some of the nation's top players during the run of the Mart Heinen Holiday Tournament. The fans pack Pepsi Arena and provide Quincy with a strong home court advantage Lady Hawks Record at Pepsi Arena since joining the GLVC in 1995 Year...Record 1995-96...5-9 1996-97...6-7 1997-98...0-13 1998-99...2-10 1999-2000...2-10 2000-01...6-6 2001-02...11-1 2002-03...10-4 2003-04...17-0 2004-05...11-2 2005-06...12-3 Year...Record 2006-07...8-5 2007-08...13-1 2008-09...15-1 2009-10...12-2 2010-11...17-0 2011-12...11-1 2012-13...7-7 2013-14...13-2 2014-15...11-4 2015-16...14-1 Overall... 225-77 YEAR-BY-YEAR RESULTS Year...
