A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from his father, from Al Qasim Bin Ibrahim, from Aban Bin Taghlub who said, I was with Abu Abdullah asws accompanying him asws in what is between Makkah and Al-Medina. So when he asws ended up to the Harram, he asws encamped and washed, and grabbed his asws slippers by his asws hands, then entered the Harram bare-footed. So I did similar to what he asws did. So he asws said: O Aban! The one who does like what you saw me asws do, in reverence to Allah azwj, Allah azwj would Delete from him one hundred thousand sins, and Write for him one hundred thousand good deeds, and Allah azwj Mighty and Majestic would Build for him one hundred thousand Levels, and would Fulfill for him one hundred thousand needs. 1 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن ص ال ح ب ن الس ن د ي ع ن ح م اد ب ن ع يس ى ع ن ح س ي ن ب ن ال م خ ت ار ع ن أ ب ي ع ب ي د ة ق ال ز ام ل ت أ ب ا ج ع ف ر ( عليه السالم ) ف يم ا ب ي ن م ك ة و ال م د ين ة ف ل م ا ان ت ه ى إ ل ى ال ح ر م اغ ت س ل و أ خ ذ ن ع ل ي ه ب ي د ي ه ث م م ش ى ف ي ال ح ر م س اع ة. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Salih Bin Al Sandy, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Husayn Bin Al Mukhtar, from Abu Ubeyda who said, I accompanied Abu Ja far asws in what is between Makkah and Al-Medina. So when he asws ended up to the Harram, he asws washed and grabbed his asws slippers by his asws hands, then walked into the Harram for a while. م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن م ح م د ب ن ال ح س ي ن ع ن ع ل ي ب ن ال ح ك م ع ن ال ح س ي ن ب ن ال م خ ت ار م ث ل ه. Abu Abdullah asws said: When you enter the Harram, so take from the Izkhir (Fragrant grass) and chew it. And he asws used to instruct Umm Farwa as with that. 3 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن م ع او ي ة ب ن ع م ار ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال إ ذ ا د خ ل ت ال ح ر م ف خ ذ ذ خ ر ف ام ض غ ه. م ن ا ل Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Whenever you enter the Harram, so take from the Izkhir (fragrant grass), and chew it. ق ال ال ك ل ي ن ي س أ ل ت ب ع ض أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن ه ذ ا ف ق ال ي س ت ح ب ذ ل ك ل ي ط يب ب ه ا ال ف م ل ت ق ب يل ال ح ج ر. Al-Kulayni said, I asked one of our companions about this, so he said, He asws loved that in order to freshen the mouth with it, to kiss the (Black) Stone. 4 أ ب و ع ل ي ا ل ش ع ر ي ع ن م ح م د ب ن ع ب د ال ج ب ار ع ن ص ف و ان ع ن ذ ر يح ق ال س أ ل ت ه ع ن ال غ س ل ف ي ال ح ر م ق ب ل د خ ول ه أ و ب ع د د خ ول ه ق ال ل ي ض ر ك أ ي ذ ل ك ف ع ل ت و إ ن اغ ت س ل ت ب م ك ة ف ال ب أ س و إ ن اغ ت س ل ت ف ي ب ي ت ك ح ين ت ن ز ل ب م ك ة ف ال بأ س. Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan, from Zareeh who said, I asked about the washing in the Harram before entering it, or after entering it. He asws said: It would not harm you which of that you do; and if you were to wash in Makkah, so there is no problem, and if you were to wash in your house where you have lodged in Makkah, so there is no problem. 5 Chapter 117 Cutting off Talbiyya of the Tumatto ب اب ق ط ع ت ل ب ي ة ال م ت م ت ع ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه و م ح م د ب ن إ س م اع يل ع ن ال ف ض ل ب ن ش اذ ان ج م يعا ع ن ص ف و ان ب ن ي ح ي ى و اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر و ص ف و ان ع ن م ع او ي ة ب ن ع م ار ق ال ق ال أ ب و ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) إ ذ ا د خ ل ت م ك ة و أ ن ت م ت م ت ع ف ن ظ ر ت إ ل ى ب ي وت م ك ة ف اق ط ع الت ل ب ي ة و ح د ب ي وت م ك ة ال ت ي ك ان ت ق ب ل ال ي و م ع ق ب ة ال م د ن ي ين و إ ن الن اس ق د أ ح د ث وا ب م ك ة م ا ل م ي ك ن ف اق ط ع الت ل ب ي ة و ع ل ي ك ب الت ك ب ير و الت ه ل يل و الت ح م يد و الث ن اء ع ل ى للا ع ز و ج ل ب م ا اس ت ط ع ت. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Safwan Bin Yahya, and Ibn Abu Umeyr, and Safwan, from Muawiya Bin Ammar who said, Abu Abdullah asws said: Whenever you enter Makkah and you are performing Tumatto, and you look at the houses of Makkah, so cut off the Talbiyya; and a boundary of the house of Makkah which was before today is Uqba Al-Maniyyeen, and that the people have built anew in Makkah which did not exist beforehand. Therefore, cut off the Talbiyya, and upon you would be with the Extollation of the Greatness (Takbeer), and Extollation of the Holiness (Tahleel), and the Extollation of 3 Al Kafi V 4 The Book of Hajj Ch 116 H 3 4 Al Kafi V 4 The Book of Hajj Ch 116 H 4 5 Al Kafi V 4 The Book of Hajj Ch 116 H 5 5 out of 49

the Glory, and the Praise upon Allah azwj Mighty and Majestic with whatever your capacity might be. 6 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن م ح م د ب ن إ س م اع يل ع ن ح ن ان ب ن س د ير ع ن أ ب يه ق ال ق ال أ ب و ج ع ف ر و أ ب و عب د للا ( عليه السالم ) إ ذ ا ر أ ي ت أ ب ي ات م ك ة ف اق ط ع الت ل ب ي ة. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Hanaan Bin Sadeyr, from his father who said, Abu Ja far asws and Abu Abdullah asws, whenever they asws saw the houses of Makkah, cut off the Talbiyya. 7 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن ح م اد ع ن ال ح ل ب ي ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ال م ت م ت ع إ ذ ا ن ظ ر إ ل ى ب ي وت م ك ة ق ط ع الت ل ب ي ة. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: The performer of Tumatto, when he looks at the houses of Makkah, should cut off the Talbiyya. 8 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن أ ب ي ال ح س ن الر ض ا ( عليه السالم ) ن ظ ر إ ل ى أ ع ر اش م ك ة ع ق ب ة ذ ي ط و ى ق ل ت ب ي وت م ك ة ق ال ن ع م. أ ن ه س ئ ل ع ن ال م ت م ت ع م ت ى ي ق ط ع الت ل ب ي ة ق ال إ ذ ا Muhammad Bin yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza asws having been asked about the performer of the Tumatto, when should he cut off the Talbiyya, he asws said: When he looks at the chairs of Makka at Uqba Zi Tuwwa. I said, Houses of Makkah? He asws said: Yes. 9 Chapter 118 Entering Makkah ب اب د خ ول م ك ة م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ال ح س ن ب ن ع ل ي ب ن ف ض ال ع ن ي ون س ب ن ي ع ق وب ق ال ق ل ت ل ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) م ن أ ي ن أ د خ ل م ك ة و ق د ج ئ ت م ن ال م د ين ة ف ق ال اد خ ل م ن أ ع ل ى م ك ة و إ ذ ا خ ر ج ت ت ر ي د ال م د ين ة ف اخ ر ج م ن أ س ف ل م ك ة. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Bin Fazzal, from yunus Bin Yaqoub who said, I said to Abu Abdullah asws, From where should I enter Makkah, and I have come from Al-Medina? So he asws said: Enter from the top part of Makkah. Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Sama at, from someone else, from Aban Bin usman, from Muhammad Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Allah azwj Mighty and Majestic is Saying in His azwj Book [22:26] and purify My House for those who circumambulate it and stand to Pray and bow down and prostrate themselves. Thus, it is befitting for the servant that he does not enter Makkah except when he is clean, having had washed his sweat, and body parts, and purified. 12 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن م ع او ي ة ب ن ع م ار ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال إ ذ ا ان ت ه ي ت إ ل ى ال ح ر م إ ن ش اء للا ف اغ ت س ل ح ين ت د خ ل ه و إ ن ت ق د م ت ف اغ ت س ل م ن ب ئ ر م ي م ون أ و م ن ف خ أ و م ن م ن ز ل ك ب م ك ة. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Whenever you end up to the Harram, Allah azwj Willing, so wash where you enter it (on arrival). Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, and Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, altogether from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Aban Bin Usman, from Ajlan Abu Salih who said, Abu Abdullah asws said: Whenever you end up to the well of Maymoun, or the well of Abdul Samad, so wash, and take off your slippers, and walk bare-footed, and upon you should be the tranquility and dignity. 15 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د و س ه ل ب ن ز ي اد ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ب ن أ ب ي ن ص ر ال ح س ن ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ق ال ل ي إ ن اغ ت س ل ت ب م ك ة ث م ن م ت ق ب ل أ ن ت ط وف ف أ ع د غ س ل ك. ع ن ع ل ي ب ن أ ب ي ح م ز ة ع ن أ ب ي A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, and Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Baseer, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan asws, He asws said to me: If you wash in Makkah, then sleep before you perform Tawaaf, so repeat your washing. 16 أ ب و ع ل ي ا ل ش ع ر ي ع ن م ح م د ب ن ع ب د ال ج ب ار ع ن ص ف و ان ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن ع ب د الر ح م ن ب ن ال ح ج اج ق ال س أ ل ت أ ب ا إ ب ر اه ي م ( عليه السالم ) ع ن الر ج ل ي غ ت س ل ل د خ ول م ك ة ث م ي ن ام ف ي ت و ض أ ق ب ل أ ن ي د خ ل أ ي ج ز ئ ه ذ ل ك أ و ي ع ي د ق ال ل ي ج ز ئ ه ل ن ه إ ن م ا د خ ل ب و ض وء. Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Abdul Rahman Bin Al Hajjaj who said, I asked Abu Ibrahim asws about the man who washes in order to enter Makkah. Then he sleeps. So if he were to perform ablution before he enters (Makkah), would that suffice him, or should he repeat? He asws said: It would not suffice him, because he, rather, entered with ablution (only). 17 ( عليه السالم ) ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن م ع او ي ة ب ن ع م ار ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ب س ك ين ة غ ف ر ل ه ذ ن ب ه ق ل ت ك ي ف ي د خ ل ه ا ب س ك ين ة ق ال ي د خ ل غ ي ر م ت ك ب ر و ل م ت ج ب ر. أ ن ه ق ال م ن د خ ل ه ا Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: The one who enters it with tranquility, his sins would be Forgiven for him. I said, How does one enter with tranquility? ب اب د خ ول ال م س ج د ال ح ر ام Chapter 119 Entering the Sacred Masjid ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه و م ح م د ب ن إ س م اع يل ع ن ال ف ض ل ب ن ش اذ ان ج م يعا ع ن ص ف و ان ب ن ي ح ي ى و اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن م ع او ي ة ب ن ع م ار ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال إ ذ ا د خ ل ت ال م س ج د ال ح ر ام ف اد خ ل ه ح اف يا ع ل ى الس ك ين ة و ال و ق ار و ال خ ش وع و ق ال و م ن د خ ل ه ب خ ش وع غ ف ر للا ل ه إ ن ش اء للا ق ل ت م ا ال خ ش وع ق ال الس ك ين ة ل ت د خل ه ب ت ك ب ر Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Safwan Bin Yahya, and Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Whenever you enter the Sacred Masjid, so enter it bare-footed upon the tranquility, and the dignity, and the reverence. And he asws said: And the one who enters it with reverence, Allah azwj would Forgive him, Allah azwj Willing. I said, What is the reverence? He asws said: The tranquility, not entering it with arrogance. ف إ ذ ا ان ت ه ي ت إ ل ى ب اب ال م س ج د ف ق م و ق ل الس ال م ع ل ي ك أ ي ه ا الن ب ي و ر ح م ة للا و ب ر ك ات ه ب س م للا و ب ا ل ل و م ن للا و م ا ش اء للا و الس ال م ع ل ى أ ن ب ي اء للا و ر س ل ه و الس ال م ع ل ى ر س ول للا و الس ال م ع ل ى إ ب ر اه يم و ال ح م د ل ل ر ب ال ع ال م ي ن So when you end up to the door of the Masjid, then stand and say, Greetings be upon you saww, O Prophet saww, and Mercy of Allah azwj, and His azwj Blessings. In the Name of Allah azwj, and by Allah azwj, and from Allah azwj, and whatever Allah azwj so Desires. And greetings be upon the Prophets saww of Allah azwj and His azwj Rasools as. And the greetings be upon Rasool-Allah saww, and the greetings be upon Ibrahim as. And the Praise is for Allah azwj Lord azwj of the worlds. ف إ ذ ا د خ ل ت ال م س ج د ف ار ف ع ي د ي ك و اس ت ق ب ل ال ب ي ت و ق ل الل ه م إ ن ي أ س أ ل ك ف ي م ق ام ي ه ذ ا ف ي أ و ل م ن اس ك ي أ ن ت ق ب ل ت و ب ت ي و أ ن ت ج او ز ع ن خ ط يئ ت ي و ت ض ع ع ن ي و ز ر ي ال ح م د ل ل ال ذ ي ب ل غ ن ي ب ي ت ه ال ح ر ام الل ه م إ ن ي أ ش ه د أ ن ه ذ ا ب ي ت ك ال ح ر ام ال ذ ي ج ع ل ت ه م ث اب ة ل لن اس و أ م نا م ب ار كا و ه د ى ل ل ع ال م ين So when you enter the Masjid, then raise your hands and face the House (Kaaba), and say, O Allah azwj! I ask You azwj in this place of mine during the first of my rituals that You azwj should Accept my repentance, and that You azwj should Overlook my errors, and Place my burden away from me. The Praise is for Allah azwj Who Made me reach His azwj Sacred House (Kaaba). O Allah azwj! I hereby testify that this is Your azwj Sacred House, which You azwj Made it as a refuge for the people, and a security, Blessed, and a Guidance for the worlds. الل ه م إ ن ي ع ب د ك و ال ب ل د ب ل د ك و ال ب ي ت ب ي ت ك ج ئ ت أ ط ل ب ر ح م ت ك و أ ؤ م ط اع ت ك م ط يعا ل م ر ك ر اض يا ب ق د ر ك أ س أ ل ك م س أ ل ة ال م ض ط ر إ ل ي ك ال خ ائ ف ل ع ق وب ت ك الل ه م اف ت ح ل ي أ ب و اب ر ح م ت ك و اس ت ع م ل ن ي ب ط اع ت ك و م ر ض ات ك. O Allah azwj! I am Your azwj servant, and the city is Your azwj city, and the House is Your azwj House. I have come seeking Your azwj Mercy, and intending to obey You azwj, obedient to Your azwj Command, being pleased with Your azwj Ordainment. And, the greetings be upon Rasool-Allah saww. The greetings be upon Muhammad saww son of Abdullah as. The greetings be upon Ibrahim as, Friend of the Beneficent. The greetings be upon the Mursil Prophets as. The Praise is for Allah azwj, Lord azwj of the worlds. The greetings be upon us and upon the righteous servants. O Allah azwj! Send Blessings upon Muhammad saww and the Progeny asws of Muhammad saww, Your azwj servant, and Your azwj Rasool saww, and upon Ibrahim saww, Your azwj Friend, and upon Your azwj Prophets as and Your azwj Rasools as, and Greetings be upon them, and Peace be upon the Mursils as. And the Praise is for Allah azwj, Lord azwj of the worlds. يم ان أ ب دا م ا أ ب ق ي ت ن ي ج ل ث ن اء و ج ه ك الل ه م اف ت ح ل ي أ ب و اب ر ح م ت ك و اس ت ع م ل ن ي ف ي ط اع ت ك و م ر ض ات ك و اح ف ظ ن ي ب ح ف ظ ا ل ال ح م د ل ل ال ذ ي ج ع ل ن ي م ن و ف د ه و ز و ار ه و ج ع ل ن ي م م ن ي ع م ر م س اج د ه و ج ع ل ن ي م م ن ي ن اج ي ه O Allah azwj! Open for me the doors of Your azwj Mercy, and Enable me in Your azwj obedience, and Your azwj Pleasure, and Protect me with protection of the belief forever for as long as You azwj keep me remaining (alive), Majestic being the Praise of Your azwj Face. and His azwj visitor, and Made me to be from the ones who build His azwj Masjids, and Made me to be from the ones who whisper to Him azwj. الل ه م إ ن ي ع ب د ك و ز ائ ر ك ف ي ب ي ت ك و ع ل ى ك ل م أ ت ي ح ق ل م ن أ ت اه و ز ار ه و أ ن ت خ ي ر م أ ت ي و أ ك ر م م ز ور ف أ س أ ل ك ي ا للا ي ا ر ح م ان ب أ ن ك أ ن ت للا ال ذ ي ل إ ل ه إ ل أ ن ت و ح د ك ل ش ر يك ل ك و ب أ ن ك و اح د أ ح د ص م د ل م ت ل د و ل م ت ول د و ل م ي ك ن ل ه ك ف وا أ ح د O Allah azwj! I am Your azwj servant, and Your azwj visitor in Your azwj House, and upon every Host there is a right for the one whom comes to him, and visits him, and You azwj are the best of the Hosts, and the most Honourable visited One. So I ask You azwj, O Allah azwj, O Beneficent, by You azwj being Allah azwj Who, there is no god for Him azwj. You azwj are Alone, there being no associates for You azwj, and by You azwj being One, Alone, Last, not begetting and not being begotten, and there being no one as a match for Him azwj. و أ ن م ح م دا ع ب د ك و ر س ول ك ص ل ى للا ع ل ي ه و ع ل ى أ ه ل ب ي ت ه ي ا ج و اد ي ا ك ر يم ي ا م اج د ي ا ج ب ار ي ا ك ر يم أ س أ ل ك أ ن ت ج ع ل ت ح ف ت ك إ ي اي ب ز ي ار ت ي إ ي اك أ و ل ش ي ء ت ع ط ين ي ف ك اك رق ب ت ي م ن الن ار الل ه م ف ك ر ق ب ت ي م ن الن ا ر ت ق ول ه ا ث ال ثا And that Muhammad saww is Your azwj servant, and Your azwj Rasool saww. Blessings be upon him saww and upon the People asws of his saww Household. O Generous, O Benevolent, O Glorious, O Compeller, O Benevolent! I ask You azwj that You azwj should Make Your azwj gift to me due to my visiting You azwj, the first thing You azwj should Give me is to emancipate (liberate) my neck from the Fire. O Allah azwj! Emancipate my neck from the Fire! - You should be saying three times. و أ و س ع ع ل ي م ن ر ز ق ك ال ح ال ل الط ي ب و اد ر أ ع ن ي ش ر ش ي اط ين ا ل ن س و ال ج ن و ش ر ف س ق ة ال ع ر ب و ال ع ج م. And Expand upon me from Your azwj sustenance, the Permissible, the good, and Turn away from me the evil of Satan la among the humans and the Jinns, and evil of the sinful Arabs and non-arabs. 21 ب اب الد ع اء ع ن د اس ت ق ب ال ال ح ج ر و اس ت ال م ه Chapter 120 The supplication during facing the (Black) Stone and touching it ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر و م ح م د ب ن إ س م اع يل ع ن ال ف ض ل ب ن ش اذ ان ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ير و ص ف و ان ب ن ن و أ ث ي ح ي ى ع ن م ع او ي ة ب ن ع م ار ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال إ ذ ا د ن و ت م ن ال ح ج ر ا ل س و د ف ار ف ع ي د ي ك و اح م د للا أ ن ي ت ق ب ل م ن ك ث م اس ت ل م ال ح ج ر و ق ب ل ه ف إ ن ل م ت س ت ط ع أ ن ت ق ب ل ه ع ل ي ه و ص ل ع ل ى الن ب ي ( صلى للا عليه وآله ) و اس أ ل للا ف اس ت ل م ه ب ي د ك ف إ ن ل م ت س ت ط ع أ ن ت س ت ل م ه ب ي د ك ف أ ش ر إ ل ي ه و ق ل الل ه م أ م ان ت ي أ د ي ت ه ا و م يث اق ي ت ع اه د ت ه ل ت ش ه د ل ي ب ال م و اف ا ة Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, from Ibn Abu Umeyr and Safwan Bin Yahya, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: When you approach the Black Stone, so raise your hands, and Praise Allah azwj, and Extoll upon Him azwj, and send Blessings upon the Prophet saww, and ask Allah azwj that He azwj should Accept from them. Then touch the Stone and kiss it. So if you are unable to kiss it, then touch it with your hand. towards it and say, O Allah azwj! O Allah azwj! My entrustment I have fulfilled, and my Covenant I have undertaken for you to testify for me with the loyalty. الل ه م ت ص د يقا ب ك ت اب ك و ع ل ى س ن ة ن ب ي ك أ ش ه د أ ن ل إ ل ه إ ل للا و ح د ه ل ش ر يك ل ه و أ ن م ح م دا ع ب د ه و ر س ول ه آم ن ت ب ا ل ل و ك ف ر ت ب ال ج ب ت و الط اغ وت و ب الال ت و ال ع ز ى و ع ب اد ة الش ي ط ان و ع ب اد ة ك ل ن د ي د ع ى م ن د ون للا O Allah azwj! I testify (that I am following) Your azwj Book and upon the Sunnah of Your azwj Prophet saww, I hereby testify that there is no god except for Allah azwj Alone, there being no associates for Him azwj ; and that Muhammad saww is His azwj servant and His azwj Rasool saww. I believe in Allah azwj and reject in the Idols and the false gods, and in Al-Laat, and Al-Uzza, and worship of the Satan la, and worship of every caller calling to other than Allah azwj. ف إ ن ل م ت س ت ط ع أ ن ت ق ول ه ذ ا ك ل ه ف ب ع ض ه و ق ل الل ه م إ ل ي ك ب س ط ت ي د ي و ف يم ا ع ن د ك ع ظ م ت ر غ ب ت ي ف اق ب ل س ي ح ت ي و اغ ف ر ل ي و ار ح م ن ي الل ه م إ ن ي أ ع وذ ب ك م ن ال ك ف ر و ال ف ق ر و م و اق ف ال خ ز ي ف ي الد ن ي ا و ا ل خ ر ة. So if you are not able to be saying all of this, so (say) part of it, and say, O Allah azwj! To You azwj do I extend my hand, and regarding what is in Your azwj Present do I consider great and wish for. Therefore, Accept my journey and Forgive me, and be Merciful to me. O Allah azwj! I seek Refuge with You azwj from the infidelity, and the poverty, and the positions of shame, in the world and the Hereafter. 22 و ف ي ر و اي ة أ ب ي ب ص ير ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال إ ذ ا د خ ل ت ال م س ج د ال ح ر ام ف ام ش ح ت ى ت د ن و م ن ال ح ج ر ا ل س و د ف ت س ت ق ب ل ه و ت ق ول ال ح م د ل ل ال ذ ي ه د ان ا ل ه ذ ا و م ا ك ن ا ل ن ه ت د ي ل و ل أ ن ه د ان ا للا س ب ح ان للا و ال ح م د ل ل و ل إ ل ه إ ل للا و للا أ ك ب ر أ ك ب ر م ن خ ل ق ه و أ ك ب ر م م ن أ خ ش ى و أ ح ذ ر و ل إ ل ه إ ل للا و ح د ه ل ش ر يك ل ه ل ه ال م ل ك و ل ه ال ح م د ي ح ي ي و ي م يت و ي م يت و ي ح ي ي ب ي د ه ال خ ي ر و ه و ع ل ى ك ل ش يء ق د ي ر And in a report of Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Whenever you enter the Sacred Masjid, so walk until you approach the Black Stone, so touch it and you should be saying, The Praise is for Allah azwj Who [7:43] All Praise is due to Allah Who Guided us to this, and we would not have found the Way had it not been that Allah had Guided us. Glory be to Allah azwj, and the Praise is for Allah azwj, and there is no god except for Allah azwj, and Allah azwj is the Greatest, Greater than His azwj creation, and Greater than the ones whom I fear and am cautious of, and there is no god except for Allah azwj Alone, there being no associates for Him azwj. For Him azwj is the Kingdom, and the Praise. He azwj Revives and Causes to dies, and He azwj Causes to die and He azwj Revives. In His azwj Hand is the Goodness, and He azwj is Able upon everything. و ت ص ل ي ع ل ى الن ب ي و آل الن ب ي ص ل ى للا ع ل ي ه و ع ل ي ه م و ت س ل م ع ل ى ال م ر س ل ين ك م ا ف ع ل ت ح ين د خ ل ت ال م س ج د ث م ت ق ول الل ه م إ ن ي أ وم ن ب و ع د ك و أ وف ي ب ع ه د ك ث م ذ ك ر ك م ا ذ ك ر م ع او ي ة. And you should send Blessing upon the Prophet azwj and the Progeny asws of the Prophet saww, and you should send greetings upon the Mursil Prophets as, just as you did when you entered the Masjid. I believe in Allah azwj and disbelieve in the false gods, and in Al-Laat and Al-Uzza, and in the worship of the Satan la, and in the worship of every caller calling to other than Allah azwj. ث م اد ن م ن ال ح ج ر و اس ت ل م ه ب ي م ين ك ث م ت ق ول ب س م للا و للا أ ك ب ر الل ه م أ م ان ت ي ب ال م و اف اة. أ د ي ت ه ا و م يث اق ي ت ع اه د ت ه ل ت ش ه د ع ن د ك ل ي Then approach the Stone and touch it with your right hand, then you should be saying: ب س م للا و للا أ ك ب ر الل ه م أ م ان ت ي أ د ي ت ه ا و م يث اق ي ت ع اه د ت ه ل ت ش ه د ع ن د ك ل ي ب ال م و اف ا ة In the Name of Allah azwj, and Allah azwj is the Greatest. O Allah azwj! My entrustments I have fulfilled, and my Covenant I have undertaken to testify in your presence for me with the loyalty. 24 ب اب ا ل س ت ال م و ال م س ح Chapter 121 The touching and the wiping (of the Black Stone) ( عليه السالم ) م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن م ح م د ب ن ال ح س ي ن ع ن ص ف و ان ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن ي ع ق وب ب ن ش ع ي ب ق ال س أ ل ت أ ب ا ع ب د للا ع ن اس ت ال م الر ك ن ق ال اس ت ال م ه أ ن ت ل ص ق ب ط ن ك ب ه و ال م س ح أ ن ت م س ح ه ب ي د ك. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Yaqoub Bin Shuayb who said, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about touching the corner (of the Kaaba). ب اب ال م ز اح م ة ع ل ى ال ح ج ر ا ل س و د Chapter 122 The crowding at the Black Stone ( عليه السالم ) ك ن ا ن ق ول ل ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن م ع او ي ة ب ن ع م ار ق ال ق ال أ ب و ع ب د للا ن س ت ف ت ح ب ال ح ج ر و ن خ ت م ب ه ف أ م ا ال ي و م ف ق د ك ث ر الن اس. ب د أ ن Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar who said, Abu Abdullah asws said: We used to be saying, It is a must that we begin with the (Black) Stone and we end with it. How was Rasool-Allah azwj dealing with the (Black) Stone whenever he saww ended up to it? He asws said: So he stayed behind from me asws a little. So when I asws ended up to the (Black) Stone, I asws passed by it and walked, but I asws did not touch it. So he caught up with me asws and said, O Abu Abdullah asws! Did you asws not inform me that Rasool- Allah saww used to touch the (Black) Stone during each Obligatory Tawaaf as well as optional? I asws said: Yes. He said, But you asws passed by it but did not touch. So I asws said: The people were viewing (showing respect) for Rasool-Allah saww what they are not (showing respect) viewing for me asws, and it was such that whenever he saww ended up to the (Black) Stone, they would make a way for him saww until he saww touched it, and I asws dislike the congestion (to push people away). 27 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ال ح س ي ن ب ن س ع يد ع ن ص ف و ان ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن س ي ف الت م ار ق ال ق ل ت ل ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) أ ت ي ت ال ح ج ر ا ل س و د ف و ج د ت ع ل ي ه ز ح اما ف ل م أ ل ق إ ل ر ج ال م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ف س أ ل ت ه ف ق ال ل ب د م ن اس ت ال م ه ف ق ال إ ن و ج د ت ه خ ال يا و إ ل ف س ل م م ن ب ع يد. I said to Abu Abdullah asws, I went over to the (Black) Stone, so I found congestion at it. So I did not find except for one man from our companions, So I asked him, and he said, It is a must to touch it. So he asws said: If you find it empty, otherwise greet it from afar. 28 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن م ع او ي ة ب ن ع م ار ق ال س أ ل ت أ ب ا ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ع ن ر ج ل ح ج و ل م ي س ت ل م ال ح ج ر ف ق ال ه و م ن الس ن ة ف إ ن ل م ي ق د ر ف ا ل ل أ و ل ى ب ال ع ذ ر. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar who said, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about a man who performed Hajj and did not tough the (Black) Stone. So he asws said: It is from the Sunnah. So if he was not able, then Allah azwj is closer with (Recognising) the excuse. 29 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن م ح م د ب ن ال ح س ي ن ع ن ص ف و ان ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن ي ع ق وب ب ن ش ع ي ب ق ال ق ل ت إ ن ي ل أ خ ل ص إ ل ى ال ح ج ر ا ل س و د ف ق ال إ ذ ا ط ف ت ط و اف ال ف ر يض ة ف ال ي ض ر ك. ل ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Yaqoub Bin Shuayb who said, I said to Abu Abdullah asws, I cannot conclude at (embrace) the Black Stone. So he asws said: When you have performed the Obligatory Tawaaf, so it would not affect you. 30 ح م ي د ب ن ز ي اد ع ن اب ن س م اع ة ع ن غ ي ر و اح د ع ن أ ب ان ب ن ع ث م ان ع ن م ح م د ال ح ل ب ي ق ال س أ ل ت أ ب ا ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ع ن ال ح ج ر إ ذ ا ل م أ س ت ط ع م س ه و ك ث ر الز ح ام ف ق ال أ م ا الش ي خ ال ك ب ير و الض ع يف و ال م ر يض ف م ر خ ص و م ا أ ح ب أ ن ت د ع م س ه إ ل أ ن ل ت ج د ب د ا. Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Sama at, from someone else, from Aban Bin Usman, from Muhammad Al Halby who said, I asked Abu Abdullah asws about the (Black) Stone when one is not able to touch it and there is a lot of congestion. So he asws said: As for the aged old man, and the weak, and the sick, so they are authorised; and I asws do not like it that you should leave touching it except if you cannot find opportunity to do so. 31 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ب ن ع يس ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ب ن أ ب ي ن ص ر ع ن م ح م د ب ن ع ب ي د للا ق ال س ئ ل الر ض ا ( ذا ك ث ر وا ق ال إ ذ ا ك ان ك ذ ل ك ف أ و م إ ل ي ه إ يم اء ب ي د ك. عليه السالم ) ع ن ال ح ج ر ا ل س و د و ه ل ي ق ات ل ع ل ي ه الن اس إ A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Muhammad Bin Ubeydullah who said, Al-Reza asws was asked about the Black Stone, and can one fight the people over it when there are a lot of them. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Abu Ayoub Al Khazzaz, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: It is not upon the women to be loud with the Talbiyya, nor touching the (Black) Stone, nor entering the House (Kaaba), nor a Sa ee between Al-Safa and Al-Marwa, meaning the Harwala (the trotting/ hurrying/running). 33 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م وس ى ع ن ع ل ي ب ن ج ع ف ر ع ن م ح م د ب ن م س ل م ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ق ال ر س ول للا ( صلى للا عليه وآله ) اس ت ل م وا الر ك ن ف إ ن ه ي م ين للا ف ي خ ل ق ه ي ص اف ح ب ه ا خ ل ق ه م ص اف ح ة ال ع ب د أ و الر ج ل ي ش ه د ل م ن اس ت ل م ه ب ال م و اف اة. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Ahmad Bin Musa, from Ali Bin Ja far, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Rasool-Allah asws said: Touch the corner (of the Black Stone), for it is the Right Hand of Allah azwj among His azwj creatures. He azwj Shakes hands with His azwj creatures by it, like the shaking of the hands of the servants, or the man testifies, the one who touches it, with the loyalty. 34 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ع ل ي ب ن الن ع م ان ع ن س ع يد ا ل ع ر ج ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال س أ ل ت ه ع ن اس ت ال م ال ح ج ر م ن ق ب ل ال ب اب ف ق ال أ ل ي س إ ن م ا ت ر يد أ ن ت س ت ل م الر ك ن ق ل ت ن ع م ق ال ي ج ز ئ ك ح ي ث م ا ن ال ت ي د ك. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Numan, from Saeed, from Saeed Al A araj, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws, said, I asked him asws about touching the (Black) Stone in front of the Door. So he asws said: Is it not so, rather, you are intending that you touch the (Yamani) corner? I said, Yes. (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Perform Tawaaf by the House (Kaaba), seven circuits and you should be saying during the Tawaaf, O Allah azwj! I ask You azwj by Your azwj Name by which one can walk upon the surface of the water just as one can walk upon the hard ground. And I ask You azwj by Your azwj Name by which Your Throne can be shaken for him. And I ask You azwj by Your azwj Name by which the feet of the Angels would Shake for him. و أ س أ ل ك ب اس م ك ال ذ ي د ع اك ب ه م وس ى م ن ج ان ب الط ور ف اس ت ج ب ت ل ه و أ ل ق ي ت ع ل ي ه م ح ب ة م ن ك و أ س أ ل ك ب اس م ك ال ذ ي غ ف ر ت ب ه ل م ح م د ( صلى للا عليه وآله ) م ا ت ق د م م ن ذ ن ب ه و م ا ت أ خ ر و أ ت م م ت ع ل ي ه ن ع م ت ك أ ن ت ف ع ل ب ي ك ذ ا و ك ذ ا م ا أ ح ب ب ت م ن الد ع اء And I ask You by Your azwj Name by which Musa as supplicated to You azwj with from the side of the (Mount) Toor, so You azwj Answered him as and You azwj Cast the Loved upon him as from You azwj. And I ask You azwj by Your azwj Name by which were Forgiven for Muhammad saww whatever there were from the sins (of the Shiah) which were in the past and in the future, and the Favours were Completed upon him saww, if You azwj could Deal with me such and such what I like from the supplication. و ك ل م ا ان ت ه ي ت إ ل ى ب اب ال ك ع ب ة ف ص ل ع ل ى الن ب ي ( صلى للا عليه وآله ) و ت ق ول ف يم ا ب ي ن الر ك ن ال ي م ان ي و ال ح ج ر ا ل س و د ر ب نا آت نا ف ي الد ن يا ح س ن ة و ف ي ا ل خ ر ة ح س ن ة و ق نا ع ذاب الن ار و ق ل ف ي الط و اف الل ه م إ ن ي إ ل ي ك ف ق ير و إ ن ي خ ائ ف م س ت ج ير ف ال ت غ ي ر ج س م ي و ل ت ب د ل اس م ي. And every time you ended up to the Door of the Kaaba, so send Blessings upon the Prophet saww and you should be saying in what is between the Yamany corner and the Black Stone: ر ب نا آت نا ف ي الد ن يا ح س ن ة و ف ي ا ل خ ر ة ح س ن ة و ق نا ع ذاب الن ار [2:201] Our Lord! Grant us good in the world and good in the Hereafter, and Save us from the Punishment of the Fire. And say during your Tawaaf: الل ه م إ ن ي إ ل ي ك ف ق ير و إ ن ي خ ائ ف م س ت ج ير ف ال ت غ ي ر ج س م ي و ل ت ب د ل اس م ي O Allah azwj! away from me the evil of the wicked ones of the Jinn, and the human beings, and Enter me into the Paradise by Your azwj Mercy. 37 أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ال ح س ي ن ب ن س ع يد ع ن إ ب ر اه يم ب ن أ ب ي ال ب ال د ع ن ع ب د الس ال م ب ن ع ب د الر ح م ن ب ن ن ع ي م ق ال ق ل ت ل ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) د خ ل ت ط و اف ال ف ر يض ة ف ل م ي ف ت ح ل ي ش يء م ن الد ع اء إ ل الص ال ة ع ل ى م ح م د و آل م ح م د و س ع ي ت ف ك ا ن ك ذ ل ك ف ق ال م ا أ ع ط ي أ ح د م م ن س أ ل أ ف ض ل م م ا أ ع ط يت. Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Ibrahim bin Abu Bala a, from Abdul Salaam Bin Abdul Rahman Bin Nuaym who said, I said to Abu Abdullah asws, I entered the Obligatory Tawaaf but could not begin with anything from the supplications except for the sending of Blessings upon Muhammad saww and the Progeny asws of Muhammad saww (Salawat), and, I performed the Sa ee, so that was that (as well). So he asws said: No one from the beseechers would be Given anything superior that what you would be Given. 38 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن م ح م د ب ن ال ح س ي ن ع ن ص ف و ان ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن ي ع ق وب ب ن ش ع ي ب ق ال ق ل ت أ ق ول إ ذ ا اس ت ق ب ل ت ال ح ج ر ف ق ال ك ب ر و ص ل ع ل ى م ح م د و آل ه ل ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) م ا Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Safwan Bin yahya, from Yaqoub Bin Shuayb who said, I said to Abu Abdullah asws, What should I be saying when I face the Black Stone? So he asws said: ك ب ر و ص ل ع ل ى م ح م د و آل ه Exclaim the Greatness of Allah azwj (Takbeer), and send Blessings upon Muhammad saww and his saww Progeny asws (Salawaat). ق ال و س م ع ت ه إ ذ ا أ ت ى ال ح ج ر ي ق ول للا أ ك ب ر الس ال م ع ل ى ر س ول للا ( صلى للا عليه وآله ). He (the narrator) said, And I heard him asws when he asws went over to the (Black) Stone, he asws was saying: للا أ ك ب ر الس ال م ع ل ى ر س ول للا )صلى للا عليه وآله( Allah azwj is the Greatest! (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: It was so that whenever Ali asws Bin Al-Husayn asws reached the (Black) Stone before reaching the water spout, raised his asws head, then he asws was saying: Enter me asws into the Paradise by Your azwj Mercy, and he asws was looking at the water spout: And Save me asws, by Your azwj Mercy, from the Fire, and Make me well from the illness, and Expand upon me asws from the Permissible sustenance, and Turn away from me asws the evil of the wicked Jinns and the humans, and evil of the wicked Arabs and non-arabs. 40 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن ع م ر ب ن أ ذ ي ن ة ق ال س م ع ت أ ب ا ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ي ق ول ل م ا ان ت ه ى إ ل ى ظ ه ر ال ك ع ب ة ح ين ي ج وز ال ح ج ر ي ا ذ ا ال م ن و الط و ل و ال ج ود و ال ك ر م إ ن ع م ل ي ض ع يف ف ض اع ف ه ل ي و ت ق ب ل ه م ن ي إ ن ك أ ن ت الس م يع ال ع ل يم. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Umar Bin Azina who said, I heard Abu Abdullah asws saying when he asws ended up to the back of the Kaaba where passing by the (Black) Stone: O the One with the Favours, and the Leniency, and the Benevolence, and the Generosity! My asws deeds are weak, so Multiply these for me asws, and Accept these from me asws, You azwj are the Hearing, the Knowing. 41 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ال ح س ي ن ب ن س ع يد ع ن الن ض ر ب ن س و ي د ع ن ع ب د للا ب ن س ن ان ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ي س ت ح ب أ ن ت ق ول ب ي ن الر ك ن و ال ح ج ر الل هم آت ن ا ف ي الد ن ي ا ح س ن ة و ف ي ا ل خ ر ة ح س ن ة و ق ن ا ع ذ اب الن ار و ق ال إ ن م ل كا م و ك ال ي ق ول آم ين. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Nazar Bin Suweyd, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: It is recommended that you should be saying, between the (Al-Yamany) corner and the (Black) Stone: الل ه م آت ن ا ف ي الد ن ي ا ح س ن ة و ف ي ا ل خ ر ة ح س ن ة و ق ن ا ع ذ اب الن ا ر O Allah azwj! [2:201] Grant us good in the world and good in the Hereafter, and Save us from the Punishment of the Fire. And he asws said: The two Angels allocated would be saying: Ameen. 42 أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن غ ي اث ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن ج ع ف ر ع ن أ ب ي ه ( عليه السالم ) ق ال ك ان ر س ول للا ( صلى للا عليه وآله ) ل ي س ت ل م إ ل الر ك ن ا ل س و د و ال ي م ان ي ث م ي ق ب ل ه م ا و ي ض ع خ د ه ع ل ي ه م ا و ر أ ي ت أ ب ي ي ف ع ل ه. Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Giyas Bin Ibrahim, (It has been narrated) from Ja far asws, from his asws father asws having said: Rasool- Allah saww did not touch except for the corner of the Black (Stone), and the Yamani (corner).
