Every delegation must take over the expenses for travel, transfer from airport to the hotel and vice versa. To organize everything in the best way, we ask you to inform us if the team will have their own transport to move during the days of the even. The National Ski Associations, are asked to make a list of their entrance according to their ability; the best competitor in the first place, followed by the others in order of merit. The Jury will decide the starting order groups on the base of this information. TROFEO TOPOLINO SNOWBOARD RULES Art. 1 Description The 10 th TROFEO TOPOLINO SNOWBOARD is a F.I.S. International SNOWBOARD SLOPESTYLE (SBS) and SNOWBOARD CROSS (SBX) event reserved to CHILDREN categories of the National Associations. The TROFEO TOPOLINO SNOWBOARD is organized by the Sport Association (Organizing Committee). Art. 2 Categories The male and female categories for 2016 are: U14: Children born in 2003/2002 SLOPESTYLE (SBS) U15: Children born in 2002/2001 SNOWBOARD CROSS (SBX) Art. 3 Equipment rules Hard shelled helmets are mandatory for all disciplines in training as well as in competition. All the other protective devices are decided by the team. Art. 4 Participants admitted Only official representatives chosen by each National Association may participate into the TROFEO TOPOLINO SNOWBOARD. Each team can participate without a limit of the athletes number, moreover each team can freely decide the number of the athletes of the different ages and sex. All the competitors must be members of their own National Association. They must be insured and hold a written consent signed by their parents and an identity document. The National Association must consent to their participations and guarantee the rule observation. Art. 5 Team obligations All enrolled National Teams are required to participate in the Opening Ceremony (Wednesday, 16 March) and the Awards Ceremony (Saturday, 19 March). Upon enrolment, all Teams are required to submit the name of a team leader to the Organizing Committee. It is required the number of a credit card with expiration date and the name of the owner to cover all the possible damage done by the team during the event. The athletes do not have to drink alcohol or smoke (in any form) during all the event. The punishment would be the expulsion from the races and the delation of the achieved score. Art. 6 Health Every National Team has the responsability of the good health conditions of the athletes who are racing in the team. Art. 7 Qualification and finals SLOPESTYLE (SBS): two qualification runs for all athletes. The best of two runs determines the qualification ranking list. The first U14 males with the 16 best results, between the two runs, will be finalists. The first U14 female with the 10 best results between the two runs will be finalists. Finals will take place with 2 runs. The best result between the two final runs will determine the final classification. SNOWBOARD CROSS (SBX): one timed qualification run for all athletes. The first 16 times male U15 directly access to the finals. Second qualifying run timed for places from 17 to 32. For women's U15, the first 8 times access directly to the finals. Second qualifying run timed for places from 9 to 16. Finals will take place in battery (4 riders per battery).the best times in the battery can chose the starting gate. NOTE: The Organizing Committee and the Jury may change the format of the races by giving notice to the National Teams at the technical meetings with the coaches 1
Art. 8 Classifications A classification for each Nation is also made according to the total scores given to the single athletes classified in each of the competitions, both boys and girls; the classifications are made as follows: 1st classified 25 points 9th classified 7 points 2nd classified 20 points 10th classified 6 points 3rd classified 15 points 11th classified 5 points 4th classified 12 points 12th classified 4 points 5th classified 11 points 13th classified 3 points 6th classified 10 points 14th classified 2 points 7th classified 9 points 15th classified 1 points 8th classified 8 points In case of a tie, the Nation whose athletes obtained the most victories is declared winner. Art. 9 Awards The first three finalists in each discipline and age category shall receive plaques of the 10 Trofeo Topolino Snowboard. The Nation s title shall be granted to the national team that scores the highest number of points in each discipline. Team points are determined by adding individual points of each team s highest finisher for girls and boys, in SBS and SBX. The first Nation shall receive a special Trophy. There are individual awards for the SBS and SBX, boys and girls. GOLD MEDAL SILVER MEDAL BRONZE MEDAL 1st classified in each category 2nd classified in each category 3rd classified in each category Art. 10 Trofeo The TROFEO TOPOLINO SNOWBOARD is award to the Nation who wins the combined classification. Art. 11 Appeals It is possible to present a written appeal to the Technical Delegate till 15 minutes from the publication of the results with 50 as deposit that will be returned if the appeal will be won. Art. 12 Restrictions The event cannot be sponsored by companies whose products include alcoholic beverages, tobacco or other items considered harmful for young athletes. Art. 14 Claims Any protest must be sent as set out in ICR art. 640-647. It must be written and addressed to the President of the Jury. Art. 15 Hospitality The National Representatives are guests by the Organizing Committee as follows: MEAL VOUCHER (lunch) from Wednesday 16 to Saturday 19, March, 2016 SKI PASS from Wednesday 16 to Saturday 19, March 2016 for all athletes and coaches. Every National Representatives must take over the expenses for hotel accomodations, travel and transfer from airport to the hotel and vice versa. Art. 16 Rules F.I.S. rules (ICR 2015 and precisions) are observed for anything not mentioned here. Other information: Technical meetings A program, issued on March 13 th 2016 gives information on the meetings to be held by the Jury and the various Committees. Transport Competitors who have no transportation can reach the slopes with one or more buses provided by the Organizing Committee at appointed hours and places.
