10 Max Naills - Dallastown District 3 Notes for York & Adams Counties Week 11 By Bill Engelhardt Class AAAA Playoffs As the 3rd seed the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division I Wildcats of Dallastown (9-2 overall, 4-1 league) hosted the number 14 seed Cedars of Lebanon (7-4 0verall, 5-2 Lancaster-Lebanon 2) at 7PM on Friday, November 8 in the first round of the District 3 class AAAA Playoffs and won 37-20. The Wildcats will move on to host the Panthers of Central Dauphin East (7-4 overall, 4-3 Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division) at 7PM on Friday, November 15 in the quarterfinals. Robert Catchings led the Wildcats rushing attack with 142- yards (including touchdowns of 67 and 3-yards), followed by Andrew Henry with 80 (including a 1-yard touchdown), and Dezmond Jones with 44-yards (including a 3-yard touchdown). Quarterback Henry completed 9 of 15 passes for 118-yards and 1 touchdown, 2 for 27-yards to Owen Ritter (including a 20-yard touchdown), 2 for 27-yards to Drew Romesberg, 1 for 27-yards to Catchings, 1 for 24-yards to Malik Lewis, and 1 for 13-yards to Addison Quinones, for the Wildcats. Ethan Lutz led the Eagles rushing attack with 113-yards, followed by Chase Yocum with 110 (including 43-yard touchdown), Manny Soto with 54-yards (including touchdowns of 4 and 35-yards), and Matt Hampton with minus 2-yards. Jake McLean led the Eagles rushing attack with 123-yards (including a 56-yard touchdown), followed by Logan Ambrose with 78 (including a 1-yard touchdown), Isaiah Green with 54 (including touchdowns of 4 and 1-yards), John Sterner with 30, Gabe Jackson with 17- yards, and Tyler Blazasky with minus 7-yards. The Eagles will move on and will host the Crusaders of Lancaster Catholic (6-5 overall, 5-2 Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1) at 7PM on Friday, November 15 in the quarterfinals. Spencer Moser led the Eagles rushing attack with 156-yards (including a 1-yard touchdown), followed by Jhett Janis with 44 (including a 32-yard touchdown), Matthew Weinhold with 23 (including touchdowns of 7 and 1-yards), Brad Whittaker with 22 (including a 5-yard touchdown), Dominic Fabiani with 20, Dante Haines with 8, Trevor Fichthorn with 5, Alec Whitsett with 5, and Hunter High with 2-yards. The game was resumed at noon on Saturday and the Crusaders won 63-14. The Crusaders will move on and host the Berks Inter-County 1 Muhls of Muhlenberg (8-3 overall, 4-3 league) at 7PM on Friday, November 15 in the quarterfinals. In the Friday night action, Andre Robinson scored a touchdown on a 3-yard run, Nick Marsilio threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Hall, and Nate Monroe recovered a fumble and returned it 6-yards for a touchdown, for the Crusaders. No other information was available about this game. Class AA Playoffs As the 1st seed the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division III Thunderbolts of Littlestown (11-0 overall, 9-0 league) hosted the number 8 seed Dutchmen of Annville-Cleona (4-7 overall, 4-2 Lancaster-Lebanon 3) at 7PM on Friday, November 8 in the first round of the District 3 class AA Playoffs and won 27-10. The Thunderbolts will move on and host the Berks Inter-Count 2 Spartans of Wyomissing (6-5 overall, 4-2 league) at 7PM on

Friday, November 15 in the semifinals. The Spartans ended the Thunderbolts season in the first round of the playoffs for the past 2 years so the Thunderbolts will be out for revenge. Dustin DeGroft led the Thunderbolts rushing attack with 100-yards (including an 83-yard touchdown), followed by Trevor Hildebrand with 40, Lucas Reynolds with 32, L.J. Miles with 21, Zach Brown with 20, and Jeremy Shoemaker with 8-yards. Quarterback Hildebrand completed 9 of 16 passes for 160-yards, 7 for 150-yards to Garrett Trout (including a 29-yard touchdown) and 2 for 10-yards to Todd cook, and Reynolds took a toss right from Hildebrand and threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Trout, for the Thunderbolts. The Eagles will move on and visit the Berks Inter-County 2 Saints of Berks Catholic (11-0 overall, 6-0 league) at 7PM on Friday, November 25 in the semifinals. Colton Dull led the Eagles rushing attack with 116-yards (including touchdowns of 13, 1, and 15-yards), followed by Ryan Markle with 77 (including a 22-yard touchdown), Briton Shelton with 73-yards (including a 7-yard touchdown), and Ted Marines with minus 8-yards. As the 4th seed the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) Division III Knights of Fairfield (6-4 overall, 5-4 league) will visit the number 1 seed Steamrollers of Steelton Highspire (9-1 overall, 6-1 Mid-Penn Capital Division) at War Veterans Memorial Field at 7PM on Friday, November 15 in the semifinal round of the District 3 class A Playoffs.
