RHINO S @ THE ANZAC DAY DAWN SERVICE - Wednesday 25 th April 2012 It was great to see many of our Rhinos and their Families take time out on Anzac Day to remember all those who fought for our freedom. The Rhinos all gathered at about 5:45amin. Despite a cold the morning, the Dawn service was well attended, not just from the Rhinos but also the wider community of Dapto. STEAKS R US @ THE DANDY
CROWD BEHAVIOUR - (FROM THE ILLAWARRA LEAGUE) Please remember that your entry (and by your I mean everyone from the ball boy to the spectator) to any ground whether fenced or not, is on condition that you abide by the National Code of Conduct. There have been far too many incidences of late where spectators think they have the right to abuse all and sundry, players think that they can take matters into their own hands on and off the field and on-field staff can abuse referees while running past them. NOTHING CAN BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. The League takes a very dim view of anyone who brings Rugby League into disrepute and action will be taken one of which are fines of $500 for the first offence. Ground managers have the right to ask anyone to curb their unruly behaviour, including swearing and if not cooperative the police will be called. No-one is to take glass into any ground. This is not only a Council directive it is also a Licensing issue - again the police will be called if you refuse to comply. Rugby League is for all people and for all ages so please be mindful of your language especially. What you do in your own home is your business - what you do at any Rugby League ground is ours! Clubs have been reminded that they are responsible for their supporters behaviour whether playing home or away so if someone is starting to become an issue and you know them try to settle them down.
