Before an audience of fellow electronic journalists and news managers, the RTDNA honoured CTV NATIONAL NEWS WITH LISA LAFLAMME with the distinguished Bert Cannings Award for Best Network Television Newscast for the fifth consecutive year. In total, Bell Media properties took home 15 awards this evening, bringing the 2016 tally of national and regional RTDNA awards to 50. Returning to the spotlight during the ceremony, CTV News Chief News Anchor and Senior Editor LaFlamme was presented with the RTDNA s highest honour, receiving the 2016 RTDNA President s Award for the trailblazing journalistic accomplishments in her career to date.
