Turn south off the ramp. (If you are coming from the West, turn right off the ramp, you are on Beckley Road) At stop light turn right onto Beckley Road. Go One mile to Sonoma Rd and turn left (South). Windsong is 1.2 miles down, on the left side of the road. Driveway is at the beginning of a split rail fence, facilities are back off the road. Windsong Stable Horse Show Info * Schooling Open: Friday Noon 8pm Saturday and Sunday 6am 7:30 am * Entry fees $15 per class Entries must be received by Wednesday June 16. * All riders must have a signed entry blank in the show office before they school in any ring. * Prizes for first Place. Ribbons to sixth place. * Medals for First through Sixth place in Medal classes * Champion and Reserve ribbons and awards per LEHS divisions. * Stall Fees: $50.00 per stall. First bedding. No stall refunds. Call for early arrival. Stabling is in temporary stalls in the indoor arena. Absolutely NO stall reservations will be held without a check. * All riders must wear ASTM/SEI approved helmets while mounted. * Please leave your dogs at home. * EMT on duty during the show. * ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING in barns, indoor arena or lounge. In the pony division No rider over the age of 12 may compete on a Small pony No rider over the age of 14 may compete on a Medium pony. * All classes shall follow the USEF or LEHS rules. LEHS rule books available from the show secretaries. * Management reserves the right to divide, cancel or combine classes as entries warrant. * Windsong Stable and it s management and employees, will not be held responsible for any accidents, damage, or loss to exhibitor, property or livestock. 5 Welcome Exhibitors, Windsong owners, staff and customers are happy to continue to host the LEHS shows. There is no membership. However, if you want your horse to accumulate points toward a year end award, you must fill out a nomination form and enclose $15.00. Riders points are automatically recorded. The rider s status remains the same throughout the entire season. Maiden riders may not have won any blue ribbons in an equitation class over fences at an LEHS or similar show. Novice riders may not have won three or more blue ribbons in an equitation class over fences at an LEHS or similar show. Limit riders may not have won six or more blue ribbons in an equitation class over fences at an LEHS or similar show. Professionals may not ride in Equitation classes Pros may ride in Warm-ups, Low, Pre-Green, Special and Open Hunter Divisions. Low, Special, and Open Hunter are open to all horses. Pre-Green is open to horses with limited showing experience; not to have shown higher than 2 6 prior to Jan. 1, 2010. Horse may show in this division for one year only. Children s Hunter is open to juniors mounted on horses or ponies who have not competed higher than 3 3 at any competition. Courses will not be adjusted for ponies. Horse/rider combination may not cross enter into the Junior Hunter Division. However a different horse/rider combination may do so. A Children s rider may show in the Junior Equitation Division. Amateur adults may cross enter between the Adult Hunter and Equitation divisions and the Junior/Amateur Hunter and Equitation divisions. LEHS MEDALS *Medal classes are also open to all riders (except for Professionals) *Only one rider per horse. *To fill a class, four competitors must complete the course. *Upon receiving 2 blue ribbons in a specific medal class, you may not compete in that medal until the finals. Pony Medal 2 0 or 2 3 with or w/o oxers Junior riders only. No in-and-out combinations. Tests 1, 3, 4, 5, 8 Mini Medal 2 3 Open to all ages. No in-and out combinations. Tests 1, 5, 8 Riders are ineligible to compete in this class if they jump 2 6 or higher at any time during this season. Limit Medal 2 6 Open to all ages. No in-and-out combinations. One test required Tests 1-5, 8, 11,12,15 Adult Medal 2 6 with or w/o oxers Open to riders 18 years and over. Same specs as Limit Medal. Open Medal 2 9 Open to all ages. Combination suggested, required in the finals. One test required. Tests 1-19 LEHS Maclay 2 6-2 9 Open to junior and adult riders(limit riders are also eligible). In and outs are required. One win or one second qualifies rider for finals. Once you win a class you may not show until the finals. Pick up the full class specifications from the show secretary or your trainer.
