Thank You for Your Support of Dustin s Dream Room Makeover Away in a land called Livermore, lives Prince Dustin, who also refers to himself as Jafar Hook. Prince Dustin dreamed of a palace fit for his favorite villains, Jafar and Captain Hook! This would be a grand place to heal after the several upcoming surgeries he must face. Also, it would be a magical place to rest, retreat and play, when he is unable to go outside. Dustin is our Rooms of Hope prince and it was our sincere honor and privilege to serve him and his family this past weekend To our Rooms of Hope Family You Did It Again! I am always in awe of each of you. Even after having the privilege of managing dozens of these dream room makeovers for kids who need them, I have learned that each makeover is so very different. This Rooms of Hope Team was indeed magical. Each of you brought your A game and worked so hard. Because Dustin s family just moved in you not only helped in creating two dream spaces for Dustin and his sister, but you unpacked the entire house cleaning it too from floor to ceiling, and even created a special place for the family downstairs. Mom and Dad s space was also cared for and there were so special touches by each of you throughout their home. All the kids who helped were amazing and what wonderful sponsors too! Thank you to each of you for bringing magic to this little boy who needs this magical space to dream. Thank you to each of you for showing his sister she too matters! Life Is Precious A Note From Mom Thank you all so very much. The generosity and love you ve bestowed upon my family is truly life changing! As a mom, it means so much to have my son in a safe bedroom that comforts him, makes him happy, and embraces his personality. My daughter s room is the perfect blend of elegance and fun. She truly is so happy in there! The ability to eat at a kitchen table together again as a family means a lot to me in and of itself. On Sunday night, we used our new buffet and table, and it was magnificent. Sitting around a table with our family is such a gift. Thank you doesn t seem to be enough. Here Is Dustin s Palace Fit For A Prince! What a delight to design this room for such a special kid and build it with each of you! Dustin s furniture was from Italy, Aladdin s Palace from Ireland and his metallic chevron gold chair from Australia. Shannon created these marvelous Jafar and Captain Hook paintings, just for Dustin, of course! Julie sewed the canopy made of billowing gold fabric. Very luxurious a magical haven for our young prince!
