Dexter Fowler connected for a pair of triples yesterday, the first Cubs player to do so since Nate Schierholtz on June 13, 2013 vs. Cincinnati, and the first Cubs player to do so on the road since Jose Macias on May 14, 2004 at San Diego it was only the seventh two-triple game by a Cubs player in the last 15 years. Including one last night, Anthony Rizzo has been hit by four pitches through the club s first four games this season in at least the last 50 years, only one Cub has been hit more than four times in the entire month of April Reed Johnson was hit five times in April of 2008.
