However, if your child(ren) has not ridden e bus for a period of time, we may not stop at your specific stop if you are e only one scheduled ere. Fall Conferences A flyer was sent home in your child s back pack is week regaing information on how to sign up for Fall conferences which are being held nd on Wednesday, October 22 and Thursday, October 23. Please ask your child(ren) for e information sheet if you haven t already signed up. Peanut Butter & Jelly Challenge st Our challenge started on October 1 and so far we only have 10 jars. Parents are requested to participate wi eir children. The first 1,000 costumed children will receive a trick or treat bag wi Halloween goodies. The bags will be distributed in front e of e Chamber office at 116 W. Capitol Drive. The number of bags is limited so children are asked to bring eir own bags as well. All participating businesses will have e official PARTICIPANT poster displayed in eir window. Children are asked to go ONLY to ese participating businesses. This is a rain or shine event so dress accoingly. Page 2

PTO UPDATE Chicken Dinner & Pie Auction Always a great time, Stone Bank PTO will be hosting is year s Chicken Dinner & Pie Auction November 1 st at Olympia Resort. Money raised will be used to purchase additional ipads and Chrome Books. Due to everyone s ha work and generosity last year, PTO was able to donate 15 ipads and 36 Chromebooks to Stone Bank School! Please be sure to check out e Class Baskets and Silent Auction items on display during Parent Teacher Conferences. To enter a pie or dessert for e auction, please contact Jessie Henchel at 262-727-7030 or jhench@wi.rr.com. Hope to see you ere!!! Save Around Coupon Books While at Parent Teacher conferences, be sure to check out e Save Around Coupon Book. The book will be available for purchase in e Scholastic Book Fair during conferences or email: pto.members@stonebank.k12.wi.us. For only $20, ere are plenty of coupons to make is money well spent. Piggly Wiggly and Sendicks alone have enough $5 coupons to save money beyond your $20 investment. For every book purchased, Save Around donates $10 back to Stone Bank PTO. Volunteers Needed We are in need of volunteers to help work e Scholastic Book Fair (October 21 st 23 ). Any amount of time is needed and appreciated. Danimals is sponsoring a contest where Stone Bank School has e chance to win a $30,000 playground makeover! Please look for puzzle pieces on e inside of Danimals and Danonino specially marked Rally for Recess packages, cut em out, and send em wi your student or place em in e red box marked Danimals Puzzle Pieces in e school office. The PTO will take care of collecting e puzzle pieces and completing and sending in as many puzzles as possible. We ve been told at Richmond School won it last year, so it is wor a try! Stone Bank School is going to be celebrating Unity Day on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 What is Unity Day? That s a day everyone can come togeer in schools, communities, and online and send one large ORANGE message of support, hope, and unity. What are your true colors when it comes to bullying? If you care about safe and supportive schools and communities make your color ORANGE on Unity Day. Wear ORANGE to school on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd. It can be an orange T-shirt, hat, wristband, socks, or even shoelaces. I encourage staff and students who do not have an orange shirt to wear, and are looking for one, to buy a PACER s exclusive 2014 UNITY DAY shirt at are available for $12.00 at CustomInk.
