The horse show committee, nor Blue Valley Riding Center. LLC will not be responsible for any damages, injury or loss of persons, horse/pony or property of exhibitor or spectator incurred on or off the horse show grounds. 2. Hard hats must be worn at all times while riding at Blue Valley Riding Center, LLC. Hard hats with attached harnesses must be worn by all junior riders. 3. No junior rider may ride or handle stallions. 4. All dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times. 5. Current negative coggins required. 6. The Committee reserves the right to cancel when in its judgment, the entries are inadequate or combine, change location or add a schooling if deemed necessary. 7. Championships will be awarded at the conclusion of the division at the show office. Please allow one-half hour for processing. In the event of a division tie, the tie breaker will be determined by the over fence classes. 8. A processing fee of $40 will be made for all non-negotiable checks. It will be expected that any returned checks will be made good within 10 days from notice. 9. All Hunter classes will be judged on performance and soundness with emphasis on soundness and manners unless otherwise noted. 19. M & S Children s Medal Pony : $35 - Open to Junior Riders on ponies that are not competing at the same show in any hunter or equitation class in which the fences exceed 3'3. To be shown over a minimum of 8 fence at the required height with at least two changes of direction after the first fence. A combination is optional, and must be adjusted according to fence heights. Two or more tests of the top four competitors are required. The same pony must be used in all phases. Only one rider per pony. (Riders may not ride in more than one height section of the class.) Three riders must complete the course in order for points to count. The rider must be a member in order for points to count toward qualifying for the Finals. No cross entry of rider into the M&S Children's Horse Medal at the same show. (Fence heights above are suggested, and should be used whenever possible. If Children's Hunter Pony specifications differ, Show management may offer fence heights according to those specifications.) CHILDREN S DIVISIONS Open to ponies / horses ridden by Junior riders. Horses to jump 3 may not have shown in any classes over 3 at the same show. Children s Ponies may not cross enter into Pre-Children s at the same show or show over fence heights higher than the specs of this division with the exception to the Larges for the Optional Fence in the Hunter Derby. 20. Modified Hunter Derby: $25 - The Hunter Derby is designed to resemble the hunt field with brush jumps and natural fences. Its purpose is to return Hunters to their hunt-field roots. This particular Modified Hunter Derby will consist of ten fences at 2 6 and you may be required to jump out of the ring over a brush-like fence. There will also be option fences that will be set at 3 and the horse/rider combination can earn extra points by taking the higher option. 35. Hunt Teams: $20 per horse Open to horses and ponies. (Horses 2 6 / Ponies 2 ) One to follow the other at a safe hunting distance. Final fence to be jumped abreast. Judged on performance, suitability, Manners. Riders are encouraged to pick a theme, dress in costumes and have theme related music to be played; however, this is NOT a class requirement.

We hope you enjoy our Open Summer Series. Previous years end of series high point division championships have included tank trunks, hunt scene mirrors, shipping halters and step stools. A sample of the championship award will be on display at the entry booth for the end of series division champions.. These will be awarded at the August t 16 th show. Please note: The May 9th and June 21st shows are dual pointed ( Blue Valley Series and Penn Jersey Horse Show Association ). There are no memberships required to show in either ring. Ring II - PENNPenn Jersey Horse Show Association Pointed Divisions/Class Specs 36. MODEL HUNTER - To be shown in hand in bridle. To be walked and trotted for movement and way of going. Judged on type, quality and manners and its conformation. Suitability as a hunter. Hunt attire is not required of the handler, however, blue jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sneakers and casual attire will not be accepted. LEADLINE DIVISION - - Open to riders 3 6 years of age. May not cross over to any other riding class, or forfeit lead line eligibility. May show in any in hand class with discretion of parent/guardian Apparent ability of the rider to control the mount is a contributing factor in judging the suitability of the mount to rider. Attire of rider must conform to style of riding. Child is not to be fastened to the saddle in any way. No Junior Exhibitor may handle a mount with a Lead line rider. 37. Lead line 38. Lead line 2 point over ground poles 39. Lead line off-lead MINI STIRRUP DIVISION - Riders may not cross enter into any canter classes however they may cross enter into ALL Walk/Trot classes.
