Swimming: 50m indoor swimming pool / 8 lanes Fencing: 9 +1 pistes indoor and 1 piste outdoor Laser-Run: 36+2 shooting range with precision laser targets (Pentashoot) Running course: grass and ground surface (800m lap). Transport Transportation from the Vilnius International Airport to the official hotel and the return journey is only guaranteed if flight information is provided in the registration system well in advance and prior to the deadline. Transportation from the official hotel to the venues will be provided according to the training and competition programme. 2
Financial Conditions For delegations (athletes, coaches, officials, supporters) reserving the accommodation package, the prices are as follows: - Single 180 per person per night - Twin 160 per person per night - Double 160 per person per night Note: The availability of Twin rooms in Hotel Crown Plaza is limited. The twin rooms will be allocated on the first come first serve basis. And confirmed if payment received. Other options are double rooms (one bed for two people). The accommodation fee for a one (1) night stay is minimum 190 per person per day. ATTENTION! No cash payments are accepted, all payments must be done via bank transfer or directly through online payment on the UIPM portal in advance. All extra cost for bank transfer should be worn by the national federation. Ignoring that, the amount will be invoiced afterwards. Each price includes full board accommodation, local transportation from/to the event and shuttle from/to Vilnius International Airport. Delegations wishing to arrange their own accommodation must pay an accreditation fee per participant (athlete, coach, or official) to the LOC. The amount of the accreditation fee is set at 75 EUR per day per person with a minimum payment of 4 days (300 EUR). For this, we will provide lunch packets for the competition days and allow access to official transportation between the hotel and competition sites. The total amount should be paid immediately with registration to the LOC, latest by June 5, 2017. As soon as the requested amount appears on the account of LOC or a bank confirmation is received, the final invoice will be issued and sent. The payments must be made by bank transfer as no cash payments are accepted. As a reminder, if at arrival, the team has fewer athletes and/or officials than submitted in the registration system and without informing the Organising Nation/LOC at least 7 days prior to their arrival, the NF will have to pay a fine to the Organising Nation/LOC of 200 for each person not attending. Deadlines Delegations are kindly reminded that the UIPM Online registration system is obligatory. The online system will be open from May 30, 2017. All information must be submitted, including flight information, pistol serial numbers, accommodation bookings, etc. by June 5 and June 12 (for reallocated places) 2017. Any changes after this must be sent by email to the organiser. Following closure of the registration system, a NF must enter the competition with at least one pentathlete/team per confirmed gender or Mix Relay. Any failure to take part after having sent their final entries will pay a fine of 600 EUR to the UIPM. Deadlines are as follows: Confirmation before June 5 2017 Deadline to transfer total amount June 5 and 12 (for reallocated places) 2017 Closure of Registration June 5 and 12 (for reallocated places) 2017 If we do not receive complete information of your delegation prior to closure of the registration system or we do not receive your delegation s payment, confirmation then we will consider your delegation as non-participating. Athletes Licenses Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in possession of a valid Athletes License. Registration is not possible without a License Number. If an athlete does not have a license they will not be allowed to take part in the competition. Insurance You are reminded of Rule 1.12.1 ii): Pentathletes without riding ability listed in the database and without a letter from their NF confirming their ability to ride may compete at World Cup competitions in the qualification for the Final, but if they qualify for the Final, must relinquish their place to the next placed pentathlete qualified rider from their group. According to UIPM Rules all members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility financial or other, for any loss, injury or illness of any member of the delegation. VISAS & Vacinations Visiting nations should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into Lithuania prior travelling to the event. The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed. For information if you need a visa or vaccinations please contact your nearest 4
Embassy or Consulate. Laser Pistols General Information Firearms Licenses are not a legal requirement when bringing air and CO 2 pistols into Lithuania for competition purposes. All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official national uniform at the competition. Please also bring a CD of your national anthem and a national flag (192 128cm).
