Warranty must be registered to be valid. Register your warranty and view conditions at: www.webleyscott.nl/garantie Warranty applies to UK residents only. If not a UK resident and the gun was purchased outside the UK please refer to the retailer / distributor. Should you experience problems with your rifle please consult the dealer from whom it was purchased. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. THE LAW. KNOW THE LAW ON AIRGUNS AND OBEY IT. ACT RESPONSIBLY, ACT SAFELY, THEN ENJOY YOUR SHOOTING! WARNING! Serious damage may occur to yourself or your rifle if the barrel is allowed to snap shut under the influence of the mainspring. Please ensure that your finger is well away from the trigger when cocking the rifle. Removal of the main spring must be carried out by a qualified repairer. Read the instructions carefully before attempting this procedure to avoid injury. RUNNING-IN During the running-in period, after the first few hundred rounds, check the tightness of the stock fixing screws, and periodically thereafter. Failure to keep the stock screws tight can result in broken screws. The correct tightening torque is 2lb. ft. (0.28 Kg m). Use only quality gun oil for lubrication of air rifles, as directed in this manual. 2

OUR POLICY IS ONE OF CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THE SPECIFICATIONS OF THESE PRODUCTS WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. USE, CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF WEBLEY AIR RIFLES. SPECIFICATION. Webley air rifles are spring or D-ram operated, single shot, air rifles fitted with precision rifled barrels, primarily suited to waisted lead pellets. The use of steel darts is not recommended. The rifles share many special design features, which include: 1. An adjustable 2-stage trigger mechanism. 2. Adjustable forend jaws to ensure accurate barrel alignment is maintained. 3. A machine-cut dovetail is provided for the optional fitting of a scope. 4. A mainspring damper which eliminates spring vibration 5. Stingray and Tomahawk are fitted with Custom style ambidextrous stocks incorporating double cheek piece and rubber recoil pad. 6.Some models are fitted with TRU-GLO open sights with micro -click adjustable rear sights, which may be easily removed where an optional telescopic sight is fitted. 7. All models are fitted with automatic safety catches. THE BASIC SAFETY RULES ARE: 1. Treat every rifle as if it is loaded. 2. Never point a rifle at anyone, or allow anyone to point a rifle at you, even if you know it is not loaded. 3. Always carry a rifle so the direction of the muzzle is under control, even if you stumble. 4. Always be sure of your target and what lies behind it before discharging your rifle. 5. Never leave a loaded rifle unattended. 6. Beware of targets that tend to cause ricochets. 3

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. 1. With the open hand, sharply tap the muzzle end of the barrel down to open the spring lock. Then using the barrel as a lever, cock the rifle as far as it will go; the trigger sear will be heard to engage with a click. NOTE: Keep the forefinger of the supporting hand clear of the trigger whilst cocking the rifle. Also, never allow the barrel to spring back before the sear is engaged nor pull the trigger until the barrel is returned to the closed position. 2. Insert a pellet into the breech of the barrel and push the pellet with the finger or thumb only until flush with the end. Close the barrel; the spring lock will automatically engage. 3. When preparing to fire, point the gun towards the target and take a comfortable stance. Push the safe forward with the right thumb to disengage. Squeeze the trigger when ready to fire. ROUTINE CARE. 1. Do not fire the rifle without a pellet in the barrel. The only time you have to do this is when adjusting the trigger pull. 2. Do not leave the rifle cocked or loaded when not in use. Leaving it cocked will reduce the life of the mainspring. 3. After use, wipe the rifle with an oily rag to prevent corrosion. Use good quality gun oil. 4. Occasionally apply three or four drops of good quality gun oil to: a) Barrel pivot. b) Loading lever axis pin. c) Piston slots and skirt. Access is through the loading lever slots in the stock and body tube assembly. d) Piston seal. Access is through the air feed hole in the breech face. IMPORTANT. SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE PISTON SEAL MAY RESULT IF IT IS EXCESSIVELY LUBRICATED. e) Barrel locking plunger f) Sear and trigger fulcrum pins - very occasionally when stock is removed. CAUTION. 4

Use the same caliber pellets as your air rifle s caliber. Always use good quality and factory manufactured pellets to get the best performance. TRIGGER ADJUSTMENT. VMX, Tracker These air rifle equipped with adjustable trigger for travel. For less travel of the trigger prior to discharge; turn clock-wise the adjustment screw at rear side of the trigger. For more travel of the trigger prior to discharge; turn counter-clock wise the adjustment screw at the rear side of the trigger. By turning the adjustment screw different locations the amount of trigger travel can be adjusted according to the demand of shooter. THE OPERATION OF THE SAFETY CATCH IS CONTROLLED BY THE TRIGGER MECHANISM SETTINGS, AFTER ADJUSTING THE TRIGGER MECHANISM ALWAYS CHECK THE SAFETY CATCH ENGAGES CORRECTLY AND THE RIFLE DOES NOT FIRE WHEN THE SAFETY CATCH IS IN THE SAFE POSITION.RE-ADJUST THE TRIGGER SETTINGS IF NECESSARY. When checking the trigger pull always point the rifle towards the ground, even without a pellet in the barrel. QUATTRO TRIGGER ADJUSTMENT The Webley Quattro Trigger can be adjusted with the stock fitted. Screw A varies the length and position of the first stage Screw B varies the length and position of the second stage Screw C Varies the trigger pull load 5

ADJUSTING THE OPEN REARSIGHT (ZEROING). Where fitted. Although the Webley air rifles are fitted with different types of open sights the method of zeroing the rifles is exactly the same. Always take the same point of aim during adjustment, regardless of the resultant point of impact. Shoot at least five pellets between adjustments, using the average of the group for reference. Vertical adjustment. To correct a rifle shooting high, turn the rear sight vertical adjusting screw clockwise to lower the leaf. To correct a rifle shooting low turn the vertical adjusting anti-clockwise to raise the leaf. Horizontal adjustment. To correct a gun shooting to the right, turn the rear sight horizontal adjusting screw anti-clockwise to move the blade to the left. To correct a gun shooting to the left, turn the horizontal adjusting screw clockwise to move the blade to the right. Additional Safety Measures & Warnings This airgun will fire if cocked, loaded, safety disengaged and trigger pulled. Air guns are not toys. Never let young children use an airgun unsupervised. Adult supervision is strictly required during use. Misuse or careless use may cause serious injury or death. Learn how your air gun operates and safe gun handling procedures before loading and using it. ALWAYS USE EYE & HEARING PROTECTION AND MAKE BYSTANDERS USE THE SAME. Failure to do so may result in eye injuries and permanent hearing loss. 6

Do not point at anything you do not intend to shoot even though the gun is unloaded. Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. Never pull a gun toward you by the muzzle. Always aim at a safe target, taking care that it does not conceal any other object. Before you fire, consider where the pellet will travel should you miss your intended target, thus ensuring no damage or harm could result. Be sure of your target before you pull the trigger. Never shoot at sounds. When shooting, always have a safe shooting range, that is; have a safe area for shooting, a safe distance between you and the target, and a safe backstop to trap the pellets and hold the target. Do not fire at a target, which allows ricochets or deflections. Do not fire into or at water. Do not fire at or near powerlines or insulators. Be especially careful in wooded areas where powerlines may not be as visible. Do not load the gun until you are ready to shoot. Always keep your fingers away from the trigger & muzzle during cocking and handling. Do not walk, run or jump when carrying a loaded or cocked air gun. A loaded or a cocked gun should never be carried inside a vehicle, house, camp or public place. Never climb a tree or fence or jump a ditch with a loaded gun. In such a case, first unload it and hand the gun to a friend or place it on the ground on the other side of the obstacle before crossing yourself. When transporting the gun, keep it unloaded and on safe. Always keep the gun on safe until you are ready to shoot even if the gun is unloaded. Do not put the gun away loaded and unattended. Always check to see if the gun is on safe and unloaded when getting it from another person or from storage. ALWAYS KEEP THE AIR GUN AND/OR PELLETS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Keep the airgun and pellets in separate places, better if under lock and key. Do not attempt to disassemble or tamper with your gun. Use a competent gunsmith. Many air guns contain powerful springs, which can cause serious injury if released in an uncontrolled manner. 7
