Through their art, they aim to encourage viewers to explore the magnificence of our area s landscape, it s people and events and discover new and interesting places. 8 Special events children Dinosaur Imposters They are lean, mean prehistoric killing machines just don t call them dinosaurs. Creatures such as the giant crocodilian predator Deinosuchus that form part of this fascinating new exhibition are often mistaken for dinosaurs, but their fossilised remains tell a different story. Discover these intriguing prehistoric creatures of the land, sea and sky at the Dinosaur Imposters exhibition. The exhibition will feature more than 200 items from the collection of Michael Dawson, from tiny trilobite fossils to full-size partial casts of a woolly rhino and great white shark ancestor, Megalodon.
