WELCOME TO THE 2012 OSCEOLA BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL AUGUST 17, 18 & 19, 2012 The Osceola Business Association is once again proud to be hosting a summer bluegrass festival. This will be our 29 th consecutive festival! Once again, our headliner entertainment group will be Lonesome Meadow. Everyone experienced a measure of success and fun in 2011. We intend to build on that success for 2012. Please review and consider the enclosed promotional item donation which will help advertise the festival and your product. The dates are set the music is scheduled. Check out the new line up! Volunteers are anxious to improve and maintain the quality of the festival music and merchandise. Bluegrass Music continues to be very popular. We expect our usual crowds. Log on to OCBA.us for more information. The Boy Scouts will again be serving a pancake & sausage breakfast Saturday & Sunday mornings from 7am to 10am. Our popular Sunday morning church service will be at 9:45 am. The attached pages describe the rules and regulations of all arts and crafts, exhibitor, and non-profit booth applicants. We hope that you will be able to participate in this year s festival. Please review dates and times. A contract has been included. Carefully read the attached rules and regulations. No changes from last year. 29 th ANNIVERARY OSCEOLA BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL *******RULES & REGULATIONS******* Applications will be considered in the order by which they are received. Returning applicants may request the same space as previous years if the application and all requirements are received by June 1st. Applications accepted after the August 1st deadline will have a $25.00 surcharge applied. ARTS & CRAFTS APPLICANTS: Must provide a photo of each craft category being sold. Applications will not be considered unless they are completely filled out and accompanied by a cashier s check or money order, a clear photo attached and a self-addressed stamped envelope for return of photos. We reserve the right to reject the application of any business, individual or group. We reserve the right to reject any unsuitable item, as well as limiting the same type of craft or art item. Please, NO knives or any weapon type items (kitchen utensils are OK). If you wish to be placed next to another arts & crafts booth, please make a notation on the application. We will do our best to accommodate these requests, as long as we receive the applications by June 1 st. EXHIBITOR/NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS: Applications will not be considered unless they are completely filled out and accompanied by a check or money order and a list of items to be displayed or sold. We reserve the right to reject any business, individual or group. We reserve the right the reject any unsuitable item at any time. You may only display and/or sell items which have been approved by both the Festival and Booth Chairman. Bring everything you need to adequately set-up your display. Tables, chairs, drapes and wall dividers will not be provided. A charge of $50.00 for the first 10 X 12 space and $40 for additional spaces. Optional accommodations: $25.00 per 10 X10 canopy rental and $20.00 for 110v electric hook-up. After August 1 st add a $25.00 surcharge.

Once application is accepted, there is no refund. Should the Osceola Bluegrass Festival Committee cancel or refuse to accept an applicant, prior to the festival, the full amount of the fee will be refunded. You may not sell - assign - or give booth space to any other person, Business or group, unless approved in writing by the Festival Chairman and Booth Chairman We have been experiencing significant attendance on Friday Night. You may want to set your booth up to take advantage of this crowd. Music and food will start by 5:30 pm Friday. You are expected to set-up for the following designated hours: Friday: 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm (Optional) Saturday: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (until 10:00 pm optional) Sunday: 10:30 am to 5:00 pm No vehicles will be allowed in the park for tear-down until 5:00 pm Sunday. Early departing exhibitors will be noted. Applications for future festivals may be refused. Your space will be expected to be neat and clean at all times. Upon departing, you will be responsible for leaving your area in good condition. Vendors must use the dumpsters located on the North side and East side of the park. Venders are not allowed to use trash barrels. Security will be provided on an around-the-clock basis. While the Osceola Bluegrass Festival Committee will exercise every caution to protect and secure all property; any loss of, or damage to, any exhibit or merchandise or any personal injury incurred during the festival will be the responsibility of the exhibitor and not of the Osceola Bluegrass Festival Committee, the Osceola Business Association or the Town of Osceola. You will be directed to special parking upon arrival at the festival. One parking pass per booth will be provided. Vender parking will be allowed on the east side of the park off of the alley. The alley can be accessed from Rogers and Pierce Streets. A trailer equals one parking place. A trailer may be dropped in place. A car and trailer equals two parking places. If you need overnight parking for a camper or motor home, let us know. We will try and find a site for you close or next to the park. All rented canopies will be set-up and taken down by festival personnel.

Liability: Neither the Osceola Bluegrass Festival Committee, the Osceola Business Association, the Town of Osceola, Fern Hunsberger Park, general sponsors nor their employees, their representatives, nor any committee member, will be responsible for any injury or loss of property from any cause whatsoever, prior, during or subsequent to the period covered by this contract. This will include the period of storage prior to and following the festival and while located on the festival grounds or in Fern Hunsberger Park. The vendor releases the Osceola Bluegrass Festival, the Osceola Business Association, the Town of Osceola, Fern Hunsberger Park, general sponsors, individuals or committees from any and all claims for such loss, damage or injury. Please sign the Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement on back side of contract. General: No drugs, drug related items or alcoholic beverages will be allowed, in the park or on the festival grounds. If this requirement is not honored, you are subject to immediate dismissal from the park. Clean-up: Vendors will be personally responsible for disposing of their own refuse and garbage all day long and at the close of each day s operation. VENDORS MUST USE THE TWO DUMPSTERS located in the northwest corner of the park on Rogers Street and on east side along the alley. Vendors are not permitted to use trash barrels.
