From the Governor From THE SENIOR REGENT I hope you and your families had a safe and happy holiday season! First of all, I would like to thank all of the horseshoe league members and roofers that built the new pavilion. They also power-washed the east wall, gave it a fresh coat of paint, and then mounted the new Sylvania Moose Lodge logo sign...wow! Next, I d like to thank the Legion members for donating meals to the 58 Veterans at their November Fish Fry. Much gratitude goes to our members and chairpersons that help in the kitchen and at all functions. It s volunteers like you that make this a fun and successful lodge. Lastly, a special shout-out to Bill Nicholas and Dick Schuller for all they do around the lodge every single day. The holidays rang out. The tree is down. The cookies have been eaten. The decorations are put away. Now we are bored. Let s go to the Moose! With all the upcoming events: the Fish Fry s, Poker tournaments, Polish Dinner, the Chili Cook-off, Mardi Gras, you are guarantee to have fun. A big shout out to everyone who helped make the events successful these past few months. Thank you to the girls that stepped up to do the Wed/Thur. meals in November and January. We couldn t do it without you! Fraternally, Bob Whalen LEGIONNAIRE MONTH January is designated as Moose Legion Honor Month.
