The National Sprints program has been developed in order to provide paddlers with the greatest opportunity possible to prepare for the Va'a World Sprints 2016. Due to the requirement for specific qualifying events for the Va'a World Sprints Elite and Club Championships and high levels of paddler interest race scheduling for the 2016 National Sprints will be tight with full days of events. To effectively deliver the desired race program organisers require the support of all paddlers to maximise race capacity. As the National Sprints are being run as a lead into the Va'a World Sprints they will be subject to strict procedural controls.
