The team has posted a 10-17 record through its 27 games this season. In the Spartan s first 17 games they were batting.276 with a record of 8-9. However since March 18, the San José State bats have gone cold. The team is batting.241 going 2-8 in the 10 game span. The Spartans return home to take on Nevada. In their last Mountain West series, the Spartans went 1-2 against the Air Force Falcons. The team is searching for a way to climb out of the slump they have been in and make some noise in the Mountain West. Although the Spartans are 3-8 in the MW, the team is only three games behind fourth place New Mexico. @SJSUbaseball @SJSUathletics Mountain West Network Jess Knaster 1
