THE BENEFITS OF AUSDARTS MEMBERSHIP. PLAYER INFORMATION PACKAGE. By becoming a member of AusDarts you have the opportunity to be involved in a very competitive darts environment. We are putting together a National Format but while that is developing many opportunities exist for the Player who chooses to be involved in this exciting new competition. You must also understand we have a zero policy on any negative, slanderous or insulting comments made about our organisation or our registered players on any form of social media and although we cannot tell you what you can say on your personal social media platforms, if we deem it is offensive then we reserve the right at our absolute discretion to terminated or suspended your membership. To become a member of AusDarts and to play in our tournaments is as simple as applying for membership, paying the fee and you will receive an AusDarts Membership Card and Player Information Package which explains all you need to know as a player. You must read and understand all our Rules of Darts 2016 and it is a condition of applying for membership that you have read and understand these rules. Then you are free to play in all our APL tournaments as listed below and are eligible for Prize Moneys on offer for each of the 4 categories. We have four different Ranking Systems within our organization to accommodate for players of every caliber which are as follows; 1. The APLGP events are open to all players. 2. The APL events are only open to all players with an average of 22 or more. 3. The APL 1 events are only open to all players with a club average of 21.999 or less. 4. The APL 2 events are only open to all players with a club average of 17.999 or less. When you register with AusDarts as an APL 2 player you will be allocated 2 ranking systems, an APLGP ranking and an APL 2 ranking. If you play in an APLGP event then any points gained will be put on your APLGP ranking and also on your APL 2 ranking. If you play in an APL 1 event then any points gained will be added to your APL 2 ranking. So the more events you play in the better your chances to obtain the number one spot. When you register with AusDarts as an APL 1 player you will be allocated 2 ranking systems, an APLGP ranking and an APL 1 ranking. If you play in an APLGP event then any points gained will be put on your APLGP ranking and also on your APL 1 ranking. So the more events you play in the better your chances to obtain the number one spot. When you register with AusDarts as an APL player you will be allocated 2 ranking systems, an APLGP ranking and an APL ranking. If you play in an APLGP event then any points gained will be put on your APLGP ranking and also on your APL ranking. So the more events you play in the better your chances to obtain the number one spot.

APLGP, APL, APL1 & APL2 POINTS ALLOCATION SYSTEM. In all events played in AusDarts tournaments the same point structure applies to each level of competition as follows; 1 st Place 20 points 2 nd Place 15 points 3 rd Place 10 points = Equal 3 rd 5 th Place 7 points = Equal 5 th 9 th Place 4 points = Equal 9 th 17 th Place 1 point = Equal 17 th Points will be given to all players who make it to the knockout phase of a tournament (usually the top 32). If numbers to some of the tournaments dictate that only 16 players go through to the knockout phase, then only points for the top 16 will be allocated. Similarly, if only 8 players went through to the knockout phase, then only points for the top 8 would be allocated.

THE APL GRAND PRIX CIRCUIT CRITERIA. APLGP. Format 501 Straight Start. Only registered fully financial AusDarts players are eligible to play in the APL GP events. There will be 10 Grand Prix events per calendar year throughout Australia. All Grand Prix Tournaments playing format shall be 501 straight start, Round Robin Draw to knockout, RR Best of 5, Last 32 or 16 best of 7 legs, Quarter Finals best of 9 legs, Semi Finals best of 11 Legs, Finals Best of 13 legs. Female players are able to compete in the APLGP events alongside the men, however they are unable to be offered the major Prize as Q School is restricted to Male competitors. The Top Ranked Ladies APLGP player will be offered a prize to attend an International Event of their choosing. If a Female plays in the men s event they are given ranking points not on where they finish in the tournament, but where they finish in relation to the ladies competing. For example if a Female player finishes say 15th overall but is the highest finishing female then she gets allocated points as if she had won and so on. However unless the Female player genuinely finishes in the top 4 of the competition then no prize money is awarded from this mixed event. If we receive 20 or more nominations for the Ladies to attend any of our APLGP events then we will run a separate event for the Ladies. Prize money offered is relevant to the number of Ladies Playing but at a bare minimum will double of what the nomination fee s received. In other words if 20 ladies register, that is 20 x $50 = $1,000.00, doubled by AusDarts to $2,000.00. The Winner of the APL GP Men s Circuit will be offered a fully funded trip to attend the PDC Qualifying School (Q School) in the UK and in the case of the Ladies will be offered a fully funded trip to attend an International Event.
