DIxon ranching We are very happy with the foals we have for sale this year. They are an athletic bunch and will be suitable for almost any discipline. There is a foal for everyone in this bunch. Also plenty of color. And an even 50-50 mix of colts and fillies!! Dayle and Darrel Rust 2013 bay roan stallion We foal out our mares on pasture and the foals spend their first few months out there with their mothers in a herd environment. In August we halter break our foals so that they are easier to manage and quieted down and more able to handle the transition of weaning and going to a new home. They all are fed grain and hay as well during this time so they are familiar with dry feed. We all know that without good bone a horse will not be able to stand up to the rigors of hard work. Our stallion and our mares have plenty of bone and good feet as well. Thank you for coming out to the sale and we hope you find the foal that will work for you.
