SPECIAL RULES RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE 2015 FEI WORLD JUMPING CHALLENGE The rules and regulations as set out by the FEI Schedule for this competition apply. http://www.fei.org/fei/events/fei-world-challenge/jumping 1. CATEGORIES A 1.1 A warm up competition will take place on the 1st day of the show. This competition does not count towards the FEI Challenge. 1.2 Category A is open for any HORSEup to grade 1.30m. 1.3 Horses must be 6 (six) years or older 1.4 Open to all competitors from the beginning of the year in which they reach their 15 th birthday. 2. CATEGORY B 2.1 A warm up competition will take place on the 1st day of the show. This competition does not count towards the FEI Challenge. 2.2 Category B is open for any HORSE up to Grade 1.20m, NOT for any higher grades. 2.3 Horses must be 6 (six) years or older. 2.4 Open to all competitors from the beginning of the year in which they reach their 15 th birthday. 3. CATEGORY C 3.1 A warm up competition will take place on the 1st day of the show. This competition does not count towards the FEI Challenge. 3.2 Category C is open for any HORSE up to Grade 1.10m, NOT for any higher grades. 3.3 Horses must be 6 (six) years or older. 3.4 Open to all competitors from the beginning of the year in which they reach their 15 th birthday. 4. HORSE INSPECTION All horses participatingin thefei Challenge classes, must pass a horse inspection carried out by a Veterinary Delegate in accordance with Annex VII, FEI Rules for Jumping Events, 25th Edition (effective 1st January 2014)(refer to www.fei.org > Jumping > Rules). The inspection will take place on Friday, 14th of August, the day preceding the FEI competition, in the presence of the Veterinarian and the FEI Judge. The horse passport including identification of the horse by diagram, with valid vaccination certificate for Equine Influenza (1wks 6 months preceding the show) and AHS must be presented at the time of inspection. 5. Rules for NAMEF Warm-Up competition FEI 274.5.6 a. This competition comprises of two phases run without interruption, each at an identical speed, the finishing line for the first phase being identical with the starting line for the second phase. b. Athletes penalized in the first phase are halted by ringing the bell after they have jumped the last obstacle. They must stop after crossing the finishing line. c. Athletes not penalized in the first phase continue the course, which finishes, after crossing the second finishing line. d. The first phase is judged not against the clock. The second phase is judged against the clock e. Placing will be determined according to the penalties and time in the second phase AND, if necessary, to the penalties in the first phase. In the event of equality for first place, the tied athletes will be placed equal first.

6. Rules for Competition over two Rounds a. Table A, Art. 273.3.3.2over two different rounds. b. First round: Not against the clock. c. Second round: Against the clock. Starting order in 2nd round: reverse order of penalties in the 1st round; Athletes retain their drawn order in case of equality of penalties - No jump-off. d. Placing: Athletes will be placed according to aggregated Penalties over both rounds and the time incurred in the secondround. 7. Rules for Competition with Winning Round - FEI 276 Table A a. In this Competition a maximum of the best 12 Athletes of the first round qualify for the second round, in which they start in reverse order of the results (Penalties and time) of the first round. b. The best 6 Athletes according to the total penalties and time of both rounds, participate in the winning round. c. The course of the second round may be different from that of the first round. d. The course of the winning round must be a shortened course over obstacles of the first and/or second round. e. The starting order in the winning round is in reverse order of total Penalties and time over the second round only. f. In the winning round all Athletes start with zero Penalties. g. If an Athlete qualified for the winning round does not start in this round, he will not be replaced. h. All three rounds are judged under Table A against the clock. For exceeding the time allowed in the winning round Athletes are penalised with one Penalty point for every four seconds commenced. i. All athletes who finish the winning round qualify for a prize. 8. Rules for Equitation a. The jumping course for the Jump Equitation will be Round 1 of Competition over 2 Rounds in all classes. b. Riderswhoare eliminated in the jumping competition, will not proceed to the flatwork part and will not qualify for a place. c. After completing the course, the rider will immediately, without delay, proceed to the designated area for the flatwork part of the competition and start with the flatwork part. d. After the test is completed, the rider will leave the arena and wait for the results. e. After all jumping competitions counting for equitation are completed, (2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22) the riders who have entered for the jump equitation, will be split into age groups. f. A maximum of 6 riders of each age group are selected for the change of horse part. g. Horses are changed within an age group. h. Then all participants are put together again and sorted by entry level of horse/rider combination. i. The participants will ride the change of horse test according to the new entry level and as indicated in the show timetable, starting with the highest level. Change of horse test: I. Enter in trot sitting (no stirrups) II. Halt III. Walk, reign back 3 to 5 steps, canter IV. Canter 3obstacles, including combination, with change of direction after the obstacle (combination is 1 obstacle).

NUBUAMIS RIDING CLUB INFORMATION RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. All competitions will be ridden according to rules and regulations of FEI (FEI Jumping Rules 25th, Edition 2014)) and NAMEF7th edition 2013 2. ENTRIES: a. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED! b. If more than 1 (one) horse is entered for a competition, the starting order must be indicated on the entry form. c. If more than 1 horse is ridden in the same FEI Category, the declared 1 st horse MUST be ridden first each time. d. Entries are accepted only when a Namef Entry form and proof of payment is received by the organizing committee by closing date 3. FEES: Competitions: See per classand competition Stabling fee: N$ 150-00 for the show (Fridayto Sunday) Cleaning of stable is included N$ 80-00 for each additional day First Aid standby: N$ 100-00 per rider (compulsory) MEDICAL AID NAME AND NUMBER MUST BE INCLUDED ON THE ENTRY FORM. 4. Dogs must be kept on leash on the premises at all times. NO Dogs allowed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the club house facilities. 5. All horses and riders must be registered with NAMEF or another federation member of the FEI. Proof may be requested by the organizers. 6. All horses must be accompanied by a valid horse passport. The horse must be dewormed, vaccinated against African Horse Sickness and Equine Influenza. All horse passports are to be handed in at the clubhouse upon arrival. 7. Stabling will ONLY be available as from Friday, 14August 2015. 8. No horse feed nor bedding is available at the club.competitors must supply their own food, grass and water buckets. 9. Horse trailers and/or lorries may only be parked at places allocated by the Organizing Committee 10. Neither the organizers, nor NAMEF or their officials can be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained by horse, rider, the public or their property. 11. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to: i. cancel any of the programmed competitions, should too few entries be received for such competition(s); ii. combine two or more competitions into one competition, with or without handicap for higher grades;

iii. iv. amend the time schedule mentioned in the program of events; change the starting order of riders in competitions in case of need 12.
