Tennesseee Miller Coliseum Murfreesboro, TN Summer Sale Yearling Tops Southeast Summer Sale A yearling son of Leading Sire DUAL REY brought a sale record price of $40,000 at the 2006 Southeast Summer Sale. The colt, CM Dual Rey, was consigned by his breeders Don & Janie Wolf s Windmill Ranch. His dam, Ginger Dee Ray was Reserve Champion of the NCHA Non Pro Classic, with lifetime earnings of $81,219; and is the dam of earners of $114,769 in NCHA and $2,307 in NRHA. The colt was purchased by Margaret Sapp of Kennesaw Georgia. Sapp also purchased the sale s third highest seller, Annie Can Step, at $12,000. A NCHA Money Earning broodmare brought the second highest bid of the day at $21,000. Linda Bennet s Pair a Dice Farm sold San Jo Silk, a daughter of San Jo Lena, to Barry Tutor. Tutor purchased the sale topper at the Southeast Spring Sale. San Jo Silk is an earner of $31,048 NCHA and has produced 5 point earners with NCHA earnings of $50,269.
