Section 4 - First Aid Measures INHALATION Remove from exposure area to fresh air immediately. Perform artificial respiration if not breathing. Get medical attention immediately. EYES Wash eyes immediately with large amounts of water occasionally lifting upper and lower lids, until no evidence of chemical remains (at least 15 ~ 20 min). Get medical attention immediately. SKIN Remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water until no evidence of chemical remains. Get medical attention immediately. SWALLOW If swallowed, drink plenty of water. Get medical attention immediately. Induce vomiting only at the instructions of a physician. Do not give anything by mouth to Unconscious or convulsive person Section 5 - Fire Fighting Measures EXTINGUISHING MEDIA Water, Regular foam, Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES Firefighters should wear full bunker gear, including a positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus. UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS May generate hazardous combustion gas under flame condition. Section 6 Accidental Release Measures Remove by mechanical means. Vacuum or sweep out ; avoid producing dust. Section 7 - Handling and Storage HANDLING : Protect against physical damage. Use with adequate ventilation. Worker must wear air-purifying respirator, safety goggles, protective clothing and gloves to prevent contact with this material. Keep container tightly closed. STORAGE : Store in tightly closed containers at the low temperature ( 5 or below ) warehouse. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors and mists. Approved air supplied type respirator should be used in confined spaces, especially such as inside of tank. 3/6 page
Section 8 - Exposure controls / Personal Protection RESPIRATORY PROTECTION Use only with adequate ventilation. If personal exposure cannot be controlled below applicable limits by ventilation, wear a properly fitted organic vapor/particulate respirator approved by authorized institute. Approved air supplied type respirator should be used in confined spaces. VENTILATION : Use explosion-proof ventilation equipment. PROTECTIVE GLOVES : Insoluble type (Neoprene) is recommended. EYE PROTECTION : Splash-proof or dust-resistant safety goggles is recommended. OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENTS : Clean, long-legged, long-sleeved work clothes. EXPOSURE GUIDELINES : Component CAS NO. Section 10 - Stability and Reactivity STABILITY Product is temperature and moisture sensitive. Stable below 10 CONDITION TO AVOID Temperatures over 5 when stored. INCOMPATIBILITY (materials to avoid) Strong oxidizing agents, strong acids and bases. HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS Mainly carbon dioxide. Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors such as methane, ammonia, and phenol and hydrocarbon compound. ( temperature : over 300 ) HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur under normal conditions. Section 11 - Toxicological Information EFFECTS OF EXPOSURE : See section 3 Section 12 - Environmental Information Do not allow to enter soil, waterways and waste water channel. Remove the contaminants immediately, not to leak out of the area. Waste from the use process is cured before release to the environment. Section 13 - Disposal Considerations Discharge, treatment, or disposal may be subject to national, state, or local laws. Mix with compatible chemical which is less flammable and incinerate. Since emptied containers retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is emptied. Section 14 - Transport Information International Transportation Regulation : No dangerous by any mode. US Department of Transportation(DOT) : No data Section 15 - Regulatory Information The law for occupational safety and health in Korea The law for hazardous chemical substances in Korea TSCA(Toxic Substances Control Act) The ingredients of this product are all on the 8(b) Inventory List.
