In order to alleviate any potential negative interaction between referees and team officials, the president of OMHA (Oceanside Minor Hockey Association) asks that no team official is to enter the referee s change room at any time! After the game, a tournament committee member will retrieve the game sheet copies from the ref room. Coaches or Team Managers can pick up their copy of the game sheet at the raffle table. All team-officials, players and parents must understand that our on-ice officials are BC HOCKEY certified, experienced, skilled and capable. In the spirit of fun and fair play, we are expecting that our officials will be treated with respect. NO abuse of any kind (for any reason) will be tolerated, on or off the ice. CONFLICT RESOLUTION: Emotions can run high in competitions and despite our best efforts there may be frustrations for visiting players, coaches, and families. If there is a concern, we request that only the coach submit written documentation of the specific issue to the raffle table. The Tournament Committee will make every effort to resolve issues immediately. Decisions made by tournament coordinators are final. JERSEYS: In the event of a colour conflict, the team designated as the Home team as assigned on the tournament schedule will be required to change jerseys. As per BC Hockey regulations, STOP Signs must be worn by all participants, above the number on the backs of their jerseys.

CHANGE ROOMS: We have two rinks housed in Oceanside Place. The change room schedule is posted on the white board around the corner from the arena office. Teams are responsible for the security of their dressing rooms and players MUST be supervised at all times. A padlock should be brought to secure your change room door, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. If no damage is noted, then your team s damage deposit cheque will be destroyed (two weeks after the tournament date), unless your team advises us otherwise. AWARDS: For each game, team officials are asked to choose the winner of the MVP (Most Valuable Player Award) from their own team. We ask that players be only picked once per the tournament, so that different players can go home with an award. For further information, see the provided form in the MVP duo-tang. FOOD AND GIFTS: Tournament keepsake gifts will be offered. There is a concession in the Oceanside Place arena to serve fans and players from both of the ice rinks (Meeker and Kraatz).
