A Note From Samantha s Family "The best thing about the worst time in your life, is that you get to see the true colors of everyone." And wow did Rooms of Hope show us some bright colors, love, hope and encouragement. They designed the COOLEST rooms which matched the personalities to each of our kids!!! Samantha, Julia and Trevor have had permanent smiles on their faces since their own, personally tailored rooms were revealed. Rooms of Hope gave Samantha an incredible home base to inspire her to keep fighting. She doesn't always get to leave her room and go out to play. She doesn't get to go to school all the time. But her room is a reflection of what is important to her, and what inspires her. Samantha s new giraffe-inspired room is making her battle with cancer just that much easier. Thank you Rooms of Hope, and all of the amazing volunteers who took their time to make this happen for our kids, and so many other kids in the Bay Area. Samantha s New Bedroom Giraffe-Inspired All The Way! "Having cancer and having to stay inside this winter isn't so bad now because my room is my happy place. It's so amazing and I love everything about it! Especially my Sway swing attached to the palm tree ceiling!!!!"
A Room of Hope For Samantha She wanted giraffes & loves their pattern, palm trees & greenery, a swing that we are calling a sway, turquoise, metallic silver & gold, a vanity, mirrored closet doors & filled with color!
And Although Samantha Can t Go Outside Sometimes Now She Can Be In Africa With Giraffes or In Hawaii Under A Palm Canopy. All While Lying In Bed!

The best part was when all five of us woke up in a tent giggling, making flamingo sounds while cuddling together under the electric blankets in one bed. We also got to see a baby water buffalo that was only 3 hours old. It was the coolest experience ever! We also loved the Calistoga Spa Hot Springs. "Knowing Summit Financial Group raised money so that our kids could feel joy, plus sending their employees to the makeover, was an overwhelming feeling to know complete strangers cared about our family. They have been one of the most encouraging groups we have ever met. I feel like we have made friends for life.
