Regional Committee for Europe Sixty-third session Çeşme Izmir, Turkey, 16 19 September 2013 5 July 2013 131100 Provisional agenda item 6 ORIGINAL: ENGLISH Membership of WHO bodies and committees Given that the Regional Office had not received sufficient nominations to the European Environment and Health Ministerial Board (EHMB) by the deadline of 15 March 2013, the Regional Director, in a letter dated 22 April 2013, informed Member States that the deadline for submitting nominations for membership of the EHMB would be extended until 17 May 2013. On 20 May 2013, in the continued absence of sufficient nominations, the Regional Director again wrote to inform Member States that the deadline would be extended further until 31 May 2013. This document contains the curricula vitae of candidates nominated by the governments of Georgia, Lithuania and Spain, which were submitted to the Regional Office by the extended deadline of 31 May 2013. The Regional Committee is therefore requested to select four representatives from the health sector to serve as members of the EHMB.
