Pre-race I N F O R M A T I O N on the Final round of the European Cup in Trail-O, the Czech Trail-O Championships (Classic course, TempO), the Slovak Trail-O Championships (Classic course, TempO), the Final round of the Czech PRE-O Cup 2018 two competitions included to the WRE and Sprint trial competition Organiser: University Sport Club, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Prague (MFP) Date: October 6-7, 2018 Event Center: The main entrance to Průhonice Park, 50 0'4.188"N, 14 33'32.252"E The assembly area is between the entrance and the Park s Visitors Center where the Saturday preliminary results will be displayed. In the assembly area, a tent will be built. Note that the Park is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is strictly protected and it is not permitted to leave marked paths either during or out of competition. Programme: Sat 6/10 10 AM Sat 6/10 immediately after Long Sun 7/10 9 AM Classic course (Long, Pre-O) Sprint trial competition TempO Terrain: Classes: Entries: Entry Fees: Transportation: Parking: Registration: Number bibs: Natural park with rocky slopes, many contour objects (spurs, reentrants, rock faces). Roads with firm surface. Altitude 300 m. Elite The official IOF trail-o rules. In-situ entries according to the organiser s capacity. 20 EUR (500 CZK) for each WRE/ECTO competition, voluntary fee for Sprint. Should be paid in cash during the registration. We recommend the participants to use Prague public transportation. From the metro station Opatov the buses 363 and 385 go every 15 30 min. Appropriate connections can be found on the web page http://spojeni.dpp.cz/connform.aspx?tt=pid&cl=e5. The fare from the airport to the city center is 32 CZK, the fare from the airport or the city center to Průhonice is 40 CZK. A 24-hr ticket in a zone which includes the airport but not Průhonice costs 110 CZK, an additional ticket to Průhonice costs 18 CZK. A whole-day ticket covering all necessary zones costs 160 CZK. Parking for wheelchair users who requested a place reservation is in the parking area in front of the main entrance to the park. Parking for other competitors will not be organized. The place recommended by organisers and approved by the municipality is at the end of Školní ulice (50 0'13.987"N, 14 33'26.414"E). On Sat 6/10 at 9:30 12 AM, in front ot the Park entrance. At the registration, every competitor gets a number bib that serves as permission to enter the park. During races, the bib must be worn visibly. Bring your own safety pins, please. Průhonice bus stop event center: V. Havel airport event center: 200 m 45 km Prize Giving: On Sun 7/10 after TempO, estimated time at 1:30 PM. Prizes will be given to the three best athletes in both WRE in Elite, Czech and Slovak Championships in relevant classes, and from total results of the Czech PRE-O Cup the six best athletes of the European Cup winners of the Sprint in all three versions of the results computation

Saturday, Long (Pre-O) Map: Parameters: Punching: Průhonice Paradise 2018, ISSOM, 1:4 000 enlarged from 1:5 000, except course setting symbols, E=2 m (not 2,5 m, as stated in the Invitation), mapped by L. Kontkanen (FIN), R. Horký, state Summer 2018, revision L. Forst Map has A4 format and is printed on a waterproof material by Žaket. Before the start, the entire park except the assembly area is embargoed. The official IOF trail-o rules. Competitors can have a phone (switched off). 28 free-order controls + 1 TC cluster (4xTC) before the start, 1 TC cluster (4xTC) after the finish, length 1,4 km, elevation gain 10 m, limit: 126 min / 140 min for Paralympic eligibility holders The distance between the correct position and the nearest flag, which would correspond to the circle center and control description, is at least 3 meters. The terrain is rather rocky and it is not always feasible to place the flag within a precision of a few centimeters. There are many objects in the Park and the planner, controller and adviser have checked their positions solely in the immediate vicinity of the controls. SI punching. Carrousels will be located close to decision points (applies for A-Z controls as well). The organiser rents SI chips for 1 EUR (25 CZK). Competitors will also receive classic paper cards that will be used for punching in the event of SI failure. 10:00 13:16, startlists are published on the web. Access to pre-start from the center runs along the main access path to the Park, which will be signposted at the beginning. We kindly ask walking competitors to assist wheelchair competitors they may encounter. The entire area of the Park except for the Long course and the access path to start of the Sprint race. 13 free-order controls, length 160 m, elevation gain 0 m, limit: 17 min / 21 min for Paralympic eligibility holders The distance between the correct position and the closest flag is always 5 metres or more. The official IOF trail-o rules except evaluation. There will be three versions of evaluation: 1. Standard evaluation (point for every correct answer), except for time limit penalty (1 point for 1 minute); the Long TC2 results will be used. 2. Point for every correct answer, time limit penalty of 1 point for 1 minute. There are no time controls, in case of draw, the course running time shall prevail. 3. The course running time shall prevail plus penalty of 120 sec for every incorrect or missing answer (there are no time controls). ANT application on Android tablets or smartphones. Competitors use either their own device s/he has (either on her/his own or with the assistance of organizers in the center or at start) equipped with installation and configuration of the ANT application, or a device available on loan at start. The marshall starts the app at start, the competitor goes through the track and selects answers. Answers can be arbitrarily changed throughout the competition. After the last answer (or sooner) the competitor stops the app. It is not required to walk through the finish, the program may be terminated anywhere along the course. Then the competitor returns to start where the result will be processed. Competitors who want to install ANT and test it before the competition can load it from http://ant.yq.cz/classic.html, where basic help is available as well. For competitors not willing to use this system of punching, there will be classic cards available, however competitors using classic punching cards have to walk all the way to the finish where their time will be measured. Thereafter they return to start as well. Even when using classic punching it is allowed (once) to correct your decision/answer in the correction fields in the second half of the card. Quarantine is not organised, please, abide by fair-play rules. parameters: Extra equipment: 7 stations with 5 tasks, length 0,7 km, elevation gain 15 m The distance between the correct position and the closest flag is always 4 metres or more. Controls at some stations are further away from the decision point and in such case the flags will be doubled. I.e. the upper flag is at the standard height and the second flag is placed immediately below. 9:00 12:16, startlists are published on the web. Access to Start goes along a walkway outside the Park (see the map) and will not be marked (apart from its beginning and end).
