PRODUCTION SALE Results Record at 2007 Select Pony ers Production Sale A record drove increases at the 2007 Select Pony ers Production Sale. GF Elation, a seven year old Welsh mare fetched the day s highest price of $27,500. The daughter of Kilvey Taran had placed in the hack and model at the 2006 USEF Pony FInals. She was sold by Sale Sponsor Buddy Ball s Greenfields Farm of Telephone, Texas. She was purchased by Kim Stewart. Ball sold six of his seven entries for a sale leading average of $6,629. High Selling Stallion was Mambo, a seven year old imported German stallion by Maestro. He was consigned by Paul Maye of Maye Show Ponies as agent for Paul Martin s South Ridge Farm. The stallion was purchased by Emil Spadone. The High Selling gelding at $10,100 was Prince Of Thieves, an imported six year old medium gelding that had been an In Hand Winner in Great Britain and was a winner over fences this summer. He was sold by Sale Sponsor Lee Ann Weber s Fox Haven Ponies. He was purchased by Anthony Damico. The top price for a Weanling was $5,000 paid for a colt by Leading Sire Land s End Poseidon sold by Richard Taylor s Venture Stable as agent for Debbie Castslhano. The colt was purchased by Bill Schaub s Over The Hill Farm. Sale price increased by 3% to $2,597, the second highest average in the sale s history.
